People are bashing our cycle. We still will likely finish 5th or higher. Next year will be first or second

Ross - UA
And you're right on the others. Some optimism on Campbell and PS2, but wouldn't be surprised to get neither, one or both.

I can say with 100% certainly (That’s right, take it to the bank!) that Bama stands a GREAT chance of signing both PS2 and Campbell, just one of them or neither one of them. This is fact.

Seriously though I do feel that we get PS2 and Smith but would love to have Campbell as well.

I'd rather have Foster myself. Have to stop overlooking in state kids sometimes.

UGA needs a lock down corner. I would be stocked to get Campbell. I think Quay Walker may be UT bound from what I am hearing. He is in Athens this weekend. Who knows?

Rather we keep the PWO, with the three we have.........and take a good one in 2019. Seems like we have a good shot a little Tua or Paul Tyson

Dang, I always miss out on something.

I did hear that Princeton beat Bama out in the QB recruit.

You don't take a guy lower on your board just because he's a state kid. Purdy is higher on the board.

I realize that we'd probably have had more success over the past decade had we recruited the state harder, but unfortunately the staff has decided to go after the best available players. We just have to deal with the results.

In my uneducated opinion I want Brock Purdy much more than James Foster based on film.

But what do I know?

There are three scholarship WB all of whom can play and have success at Alabama. Put me in the boat of loading up on DB and DL. My biggest concern is what does Bama do if Surtain, Campbell and ITS all choose to go elsewhere and if Langham decides to go to Auburn or Brown decided to flip to ATM. Those are positions of need.

I'll retire as the recruiting thread creator if that happens.

I think we may strike out on a QB this cycle. Hopefully Hurts sticks around and we can sign little Tua in 2019.
