Quay Walker

“Walker really showed what type of athlete he is against some elite offensive players in Orlando at the Under Armour All-America Game. The burst he has and his closing speed stood out as much as anything, but how he ran with top athletes in coverage may have been what impressed the most. When you look at his frame and his athleticism, you see a potential star outside linebacker on the next level. Walker is committed to Alabama, but he is taking a hard look at Georgia and Tennessee. Auburn and Florida are hanging around too, but it is likely to come down to the Tide, Bulldogs and Vols on Signing Day.” – Chad Simmons, Rivals.com Southeast Recruiting Analyst

Not sure what it says with all this talk about Walker ending up somewhere else but yet he is still committed. The sites seem more convinced with Walker. He was definitely coming to UA he seems like the type of kid that would just decommit.

Apparently some UT beat writer was trying to say Walker did not enjoy the visit using his one quote about his conversation with JJ. Trying make it looked like the visit was not good at all. Carvell apparently tweeted the UT story or something.

I used to hate Carvell more than anybody in media back in the good ole days when he was at the AJC. His entire job was to write bullshite Saban is the Devil stories.

As I undetstand it, Carvell said that Walker had texted JJ about how his UA visit was going. JJ was at Bama too -- so Walker had simply talked directly to JJ about it. He had no need to text him. So, Walker called Carvell out for lying. Walker did text Chris Kirschner (SEC Country) about his visit and what he told JJ.

His dad is a pro bowl NFL player. He probably knows how to play the game the right way.

My question is who's spot would he be taking if we land him?
