Watts CBed Solomon to Michigan. But he admitted that it was a guess and that none of the schools would surprise him.
Nobody has any clue.
I'm okay with that until tomorrow. Heard some very positive stuff this afternoon on him that raised my see-sawing confidence level quite a bit. But, unless they call the coaches tonight, none of us will likely have a clue until he announces.

Ryan Callahan, GoVols247 Recruiting Editor just CB'd Ray to Bama and is reporting hardly any confidence remaining among Vols coaches. Callahan indicated he was going to delay putting in his CB until he knew more. So, it sounds like Vols coaches may have gotten their answer from Ray.

Have heard that Jayson Swain was heavily involved in the recruitment of Ray. They tried REALLY hard for him.

Yes they did.
Btw, my son is LaBryan's DL coach at JCHS. He says Ray is an absolutely awesome kid. Smart, good student, kind, respectful, hard worker, great attitude, leads by example... Has remained ultra tight-lipped about his recruitment, tho.

It would be perfect which is why I don't think it will happen. I can't remember the last NSD where we hit all of our targets.

I'm not sure what the worst part of missing out on Soloman would be.... not getting a great player at a position of need, or losing to Jim fricking Harbaugh in a head to head recruiting battle

It'd have to be a pretty huge upset for him not to sign with Alabama. There's literally no traction anywhere for him to Tennessee or Florida.
