James isn't going to be out of our class under any condition. He's considered by our staff as a top 5 player in the class in a couple years. They think he has elite potential. Extremely underrated.

Correct. They're really high on he and Shavers' potential. I've heard it mentioned by several people that they think those two will be top 5 players in our signing class after a couple years.

So: Ruggs, Smith, Ray, Mathis/Soloman
OR Ruggs, Smith, Ray, Mathis, and Soloman
OR Ruggs, Smith, Ray, Jarez Parks (or Chris Henderson/Todd Harris)
I think with that last outcome, for us to take Todd Harris or Chris Henderson, we would need to miss on 1 of Ruggs or Smith. At least that's the way Bone described it.

Do you know if the 4 available spots is based on Brannon and Bulovas being blueshirts. IOW, would them blueshirting give us 6 spots?

Yes the 4 spots includes the Blueshirts. They wouldn't turn away Todd Harris and Parks if there was room.

How the hell is being realistic negative? We all knew Byars was Juco and we need DTs. Or maybe y'all think we can get through 15 games with 2 true DTs. As for Solomon, yeah, I think he goes to Michigan because that's what Mama wants.

If both Bulovas and Brannon blueshirt that means we have three more spots including Byers decommiting.
I don't see how we only have four spots in that scenario. It would mean from the beginning we only contemplated having three open spots to close.
I'm hoping we have 6 so we can sign a class of 28. Closing with everybody except Harris. Nah.... I want 29 and to take them all.

This probably means nothing, but I thought it was interesting nonetheless. Mathis is announcing tomorrow on the grave site of one of his best friends that grew up dreaming of playing CFB for Alabama or Ohio State.

Yea I don't know I'm just passing what Bone said this morning.
We currently have 24 players when counting EE's and Verbal Commits. So take away the two blue shirts and that's 22. Add 4 more players on signing day and that's 26. 27 if we get 5 on NSD.
