Najee would be tGOAT recruit if he shows up to Bama and is quoted saying, "I was Bama the whole time, but I didn't want to tell Harbaugh because I knew he would keep showing up and recruiting me way too hard."

This is where things stand based on the comments on a few sites I follow (I won't divulge anything that Webb has said). There are a few posters on a few sites that are in the know (not the brother's uncle's sister's type sources). These posters are gobluemccue (The Victors), GFunk (Rivals), vandercook1973(Scout) and Free Kobe (247). The common message between these posters is that Najee has been pretty much a silent commit to Michigan for 3 weeks and they think he will stick with Michigan because Najee is a good guy who has a good relationship with Harbaugh (way better than with Saban) and doesn't seem to be the type of guy that would break that promise, also he comes from a good family. To me, that's why Steve L. has been saying the Michigan staff is confident that they will get Najee. BUT, on Thursday the flight plans were changed from Oakland to Birmingham according to 247 sources. Michigan has not heard anything one way or another... and this is where we stand.

Is he coming, is he not coming? Who knows? Would they change the flight plans again to Ann Arbor? If not, it looks like it's Bama and I don't think Michigan will be too happy (especially with the relationship with Harris). That's why Steve L. does not believe in silent commits. If Harris does indeed stick with Bama, that silent was meaningless.

I think Harris came into this Army Bowl week with his mind set on going to Michigan and that's why he never re-affirmed his commitment to Bama and said he would just show up on campus. If he indeed goes to Bama, it means that something changed during the week. Maybe the influence from Tua had an impact or something else. Who knows, but we will all find out soon enough!

Using that logic Najee will stick with his two year commit to Bama.
