Brian Robinson will 100 percent be in this class. It's neen his dream to play at Bama. He is extremely underrated. I think I know I know what you were meaning by saying that you wouldn't mind if Najee Harris is the only rb we get. You meant cause he's so good,we wouldn't necessarily need anybody else. Hopefully Travis Ettiene will be apart of this class as well. He's a Drake type of back. Lsu recruiting him as a safety. He's already named us his leader, and Ldu will probably be our top competition and I'm hoping he doesn't want to play safety.

I wouldn't say Fournette is a joke compared to Najee.lol Ucla and Ohio st are the biggest threats.Ohio st already has 2 rb's committed, so maybe that will help us. At the same time though, we could possibly have 2 as well if Travis Etienne or Cam Akers comes back on board which I doubt (on Cam).

thats pretty silly to say. Fournette is a beast of a rb no matter how much bama fans hate him. he would be a complete monster at bama with the style of offense we run. You put him on any team with a QB that can throw a forward pass and teams have to play both run and pass he is a heisman front runner every year.
Harris may be the same caliber or even better when its all said and done but the guy is one of the top 3 RB in the nation and Harris has not played a down of college football yet.

Alabama quarterback commit Tua Tagovailoa of Hawaii is making a name for himself during the early summer camp circuit.
Tagovailoa was invited to the Nike Elite 11 finals in early June after a strong showing at Nike’s The Opening regional camp in Oakland. The four-star quarterback will compete against several highly ranked quarterback in Los Angeles for a spot in The Opening final camp at Nike’s headquarters in Beaverton, Ore., in July.
Certainly Tagovailoa is a stellar recruit and someone Nick Saban and his staff mined from an untraditional source in Hawaii. He showed his skills well during this national quarterback competition to get the invite to the Nike Elite 11 finals.
And he will be one of many Alabama prospects looking to earn more national recognition on the summer recruiting camp circuit.
Running back commit Najee Harris, the top overall recruit in the country according to 247Sports, earned his ticket Sunday to The Opening finals
Five-star offensive tackle Alex Leatherwood, four-star safety Xavier McKinney and four-star linebacker VanDarius Cowan are all Alabama commits and have also earned Opening invites.

I don't think I have seen any Bama fans saying they hate Fournette. I have seen many Bama fans saying that they respect him.

Incidentally, BamaK posted the other day that our WR pecking order might not be as set as some think, and that there may be a name out there that's extremely high on our board that's not being mentioned much.
He was referring to Mark Webb, Jr., who some are saying privately committed to us over the weekend. Looks really good on film. Reminds me of Robert Foster both physically and being from Pa.

Any chance with his 5* cousin D'Andre Swift? Would be dynamite in the Drake role.

He had one on one skype conversation with Saban about a month ago. Said it was crazy getting to talk to him cause he is a legend. He wants to visit this summer. As of right now, I have no idea on what our chances are. That won't be known until after he visits.

The No. 1 player in the country looked like the No. 1 player in the country. Alabama commit Najee Harris is a shiftier, more versatile version of Derrick Henry. In a setting that's not built for running backs to shine, Harris doesn't care. He steals the show anyway. He was making high-point catches on footballs down the field in the passing game, he was showing make-miss ability that is unheard of for a player of his size and he was showing route-running that was better than any tight end at the event.

Next five on offense:
1. Josh Falo, TE, Sacramento (Calif.) Inderkum - Falo put on a show. Everything was easy for him. I didn't see a ball touch the ground that went in his direction and he may not have even juggled or let a ball into his body all day. His route-running and body control was also elite. He looked like one of the best tight ends in the country and Oregon, USC, Michigan, Washington and a host of others are chasing.
2. Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Honolulu (Hawaii) St. Louis - In a great quarterback group, I thought Tagovailoa had the most impressive day though it was splitting hairs to differentiate between the top three. I gave the nod to the Alabama commit because he had the most 'wow' throws, throws where he would fit the ball into tight windows with high RPMs that really showcased his arm talent.
3. Dylan McCaffrey, QB, Littleton (Colo.) Valor Christian - McCaffrey checks every box not only on the field but in the intangibles department. He was the first in every line, he takes a workmanlike approach to every drill and he has some presence to him as a leader. He also looked great throwing the ball too. In addition to a big-time arm, McCaffrey has a good pace to his game, good rhythm in his drops and his reads and he looks very comfortable sitting in the pocket and working progressions.
4. Jack Sears, QB, San Clemente (Calif.) High School - Sears was named the MVP of the quarterbacks by the Nike staff and I've got no beef with that pick either. He had an outstanding day throwing the football and looked really sharp and focused on getting that Elite 11 Finals invite. Sears is another that just has the complete package with size, elite athleticism and a crisp accurate delivery that was on point Sunday.
5. Colby Parkinson, TE, Thousand Oaks (Calif.) Oaks Christian - Parkinson is a five-star candidate as a tight end. He's 6-foot-7, 230 pounds with great body control and movement skills. He is the ultimate mismatch at the tight end spot because of his massive frame, vertical speed and box-out ability. The Stanford commit got invited to The Opening Finals and he'll have a shot at earning a fifth star there.

If anyone is upset over the Guidry to L5U news, I have some thing you may want to see to help ease your troubles.
Now Mr. Guidry is a fine young player who certainly held a committable offer from us, so let's not take away from him as an individual. However, here are the 247 skill based rankings (not #1-247 rankings) of Guidry and the rest of our WR targets:
Stephen Guidry: 92
Nico Collins: 94
Jeff Thomas: 96
Henry Ruggs: 93
Jerry Jeudy: 94
Mark Webb: 94
Devonta Smith: 98
In short, we'll be just fine.
