The logic I'm using is sound at WR and RB this season here is why:
Once Emmons joins the team Bama has 3 stud RB's, and 3 depth filling RB's. If we need more than that then all hell has broken loose, and Jacobs likely will not improve the seasons outcome.
Bama signs a top 5 recruiting class every year. Programs tend to have an uptick in recruiting the season after a championship. I'll kiss your arse if Bama has problems signing a RB that is not better or at least = to this J.Jacobs whom no one has ever heard of before last week.
Same logic at WR. Loaded. Really no need for a big WR cycle. Bama is not going to strike out on WR's next year no matter the circumstances.
Depth chart plays a big role these days so if its possible to not clutter the depth chart with project players I think it is a good strategy IMO. JMHO
Bama is not worried about being able to sign players next year.

They are both 2017 prospects and they got offers. Today is junior day. Tre is the son of former Saints LB Pat Swilling and Bruce Jordan was adopted by the family.

Considering that we've had two non-qualifiers at RB, that is a pretty big assumption.
And for all of the "loaded" comments, we really have no idea who might be considering transfer in the offseason.

We dropped Kongbo because of concerns about his size and frame. CNS thought he would only be a situational pass rusher. Goodness knows we're chocked full of those right now.

Kongbo reminds me a lot of Prince Tega from last year.

You don't start trying to fill "needs" with a class and not trying to fill each class with a perceived starting lineup of O and D because IMO you start neglecting other positions and the depth could flip with only a few transfers or an injury.
A class IMO should always have 1 QB, at least 2 RBs, at least 3 OL, at least 4 DL, at least 4 LBs, at least 2 WRs, at least 1 (for more pro style O 2 is optimum) TE, at least 2 S's and at least 3 CBs
That's 23 with 2 TEs then you go fill needs with the last remaining spots...JMHO
I'll post my final class prediction later on tonight when I get off
