I dont think I've gotten in any major arguments on this thread. Maybe I'm forgetting though.
I have had arguments with some of the LSU tools on the recruiting board.

I know it is sideways, but some dude on BOL took this photo of the stadium tonight:
It appears they were doing a little 'crooting in there.

I didn't think this was up for debate. I've been hearing DB on him all along.

T.J. Simmons doesn't want to waste any of the time he has at Alabama.
The 6-foot-2, 180-pound former Clay-Chalkville receiver moved into his room in Tuscaloosa last weekend and has started classes.
His next task is simple.
"Whenever we get into practice and start working out, I'll go out and do the best that I can to make an impression on all the coaches and try to fit in where I can," he said.
Simmons, a finalist for the Class 6A Back of the Year Award this season, fit in pretty well in the Clay-Chalkville offense the past few years.
This season, he caught 47 passes for 1,228 yards and 20 TDs. He scored every 2.3 times he caught the football. He finished his high school career with 104 catches for 2,500 yards and 43 touchdowns.
Simmons helped the Cougars win the 2014 Class 6A state title and a runner-up finish this season. Now his goal is to help the Crimson Tide win yet another national championship.
"The coaches haven't promised me any playing time or anything like that," he said. "They just said they would give me a shot and see what I can do with it."
Check out what else Simmons had to say about the Alabama-Clemson National title game, his high school career and his future in Tuscaloosa in this video above.

There's some big questions looming for Austin Troxell.
The Madison Academy rising senior offensive tackle tore his ACL during the first-round of the playoffs Nov. 5. So instead of starting at center for the reigning Class 3A state basketball champs as planned, he has spent the winter working hard in rehab to return for his senior season on the gridiron.
There's also the matter of recruiting. The 6-foot-8, 275-pounder is uncommitted, with Alabama, Auburn and Ole Miss showing him the most interest, he said. Troxell, who's rated four stars and sports offers from nine other SEC schools, is ranked the No. 14 tackle in the country and the No. 3 player in the state for 2017 by the 247 Sports Composite.
Troxell spoke to AL.com prior to Wednesday's Mr. Football banquet. Watch the video above to hear his thoughts on rehab, recruiting and the frustration of missing Madison Academy's remaining playoff games (the Mustangs lost to Piedmont in the quarterfinals, ending a three-year run atop 3A).

Arkansas linebacker commit De’jon Harris had one big question he needed answered during his in-home visit with Crimson Tide assistant coach Burton Burns on Thursday. He got that answer.
Harris, a three-star prospect from John Ehret High School (Marrero, La.), picked up an offer from Alabama last month, which is late for seniors, considering National Signing Day is on Feb. 3. Burns explained why the Tide waited, and the answer was good enough to Harris.
“I sat down with him and talked about why I got the offer so late,” Harris told SEC Country. “You know, some people were telling me it was because they didn’t get a guy they wanted. He broke down all of the details and told me how coach (Nick) Saban recruits. They wanted to see a little more in me this year, which is why I got the offer so late. That played a big factor in it.”
Heading into the visit with Burns, Harris was not too sure where he stood on Alabama’s board. He’s content with the fact that the team has bigger targets at linebacker because he’s choosing to look at the positives.
“I do feel like I am a priority to them,” Harris said. “The first day after the dead period ends and right after they win a national championship, they came to see me. I feel really good about it. I know I’m not on the top of the board like some of the other top guys, but he did come see me and that’s great.”
The 6-foot, 238-pounder may not be as high on Alabama’s board because he seems pretty firm with is commitment to Arkansas. He’s been committed to the Razorbacks since May. Because the Tide got in the game so late with Harris’ recruitment, does Alabama have what it takes in order to flip his commitment?
“To tell you the truth, I really don’t know what (Alabama) can do to change my mind,” he said. “They’re recruiting me, but if they had been in contact with me throughout the season, that would be a big difference with my relationship with them.”
One of the ways that the Crimson Tide can make up ground on the Razorbacks may just be a trip from Nick Saban himself. Harris says he’s expecting the coach to visit sometime next week. Two weeks ago, Saban had a conversation with the recruit and it has stuck with him.
“He was telling me a lot of people are going to tell me that I’m not going to have a chance to play at Alabama because you aren’t a top guy,” Harris said. “You’re going to sit on the bench the first couple of years and maybe get to play special teams or at the end of my career. He was just telling me that he gave me the chance to play at Alabama for a reason.”

He (TJ Simmons) might be the best blocking WR at the high school level that I've ever seen. He's certainly high on any list. Julio was pretty good, too.

From our friend T Rich on Mack Wilson:
quote:
Pruitt met with him yesterday for the first time and the visit went very well. His immediate family members are Alabama fans. For Wilson it will be a decision based on staying in state (Alabama), his best relationship with a coach - Kirby Smart (UGA) or playing with his friends (UF). Sources think UA is in good shape as of now with OV's being important down the stretch.
