scarey that he does not know FB. I can see him saying UF wins but not by scoring that much. Their chance of winning is to keep in low and close until the 4th quarter then hope for something to happen

You do realize he's probably an Auburn lean

does not really matter where he leans but if he saw them put him 2 against FSU he probably is not too bright to think they will score in the 30's against Bama. That was my point and I dont really care where he goes.

Ignont said he grew up an LSU fan as well, so he's not super big on the Tide

Good, it's been reported that we got back in it with him. Guess we will see.

I was hoping Eddy Pineiro would tweet something about the game, but he hasn't. I'm not sure if that's good or bad.

But last month, after seeing him play in person, the in-state Alabama Crimson Tide extended a scholarship offer his way and it hasn't slowed its pursuit of him since.
"Yea they have been on me hard, man," he said with a laugh. "They offered me about a month ago and they haven't stopped. But as of now, I'm solid to my commitment."
Perine, who grew up following both programs closely, has been very public about his affinity for Jim McElwain's program.
"Just having a good relationship with the coaches. And the atmosphere (in Gainesville) is amazing," he said. "I'm 100 percent (committed) right now. I'm taking my official to Florida on January 29."
The only other possibly official visit would be to Tuscaloosa.
"I'm thinking about taking an official visit," Perine said. "They put running backs in the league and coach (Burton) Burns is a great coach."
A lot of "as of now" and "right now" comments in that interview. Hmmm... LINK

After the State Championship game, Gavin will be heading straight to Alabama to start his official visit with the Crimson tide. That's the only official visit he has scheduled, but he will also take official visits to Florida State and Georgia. Gavin doesn't know exactly when he will make the decision, but he's got an idea.
"I think I'm going to make my decision after the Under Armour game," Gavin said. "Until then I want to get all of my officials in. So after I get that done then I'll have my decision made."
Despite decommitting from Florida State earlier in the cycle, the Seminoles remain one of the top schools for Gavin. They will likely get his last official visit before he commits.
"I think they're probably going to be the last," Gavin said. "If not, the second after Alabama." Gavin listed Georgia as a school he would like to visit, but after head coach Mark Richt was fired the Bulldogs haven't been in contact with him. This looks like it will remain a Florida State-Alabama battle all the way to signing day.
No mention of UF? LINK

From the Aubs:
quote:
The feeling coming out of Wednesday’s in-home visit with 4-star receiver Ahmmon Richards...is that Auburn very much has a shot to land him. Entering last week’s official visit to Auburn, it seemed as if Alabama was the clear-cut team to beat. But now, it’s shaping up to be an Auburn-Alabama battle and the Tigers think they’re definitely in it after what has been described as a very good visit — following a strong official. Tennessee probably is running third, and perhaps a distant third. The unknown here is this: Does Miami try to make a push with its new staff? You’ll recall Richards was at one time a Hurricanes commit.

We seem to have only a few spots left for WRs in this class and probably 3x that amount that we could land. At this point I think it does not really matter because whoever we end up with will be as good as anyone we do not.

I say go all in for AJ Brown. He's the best WR in the country.

Muschamp and TRob are going to USCe. There will likely be more turnover at Auburn this season and a completely new coaching staff next season. All of their early enroll commits should really think long and hard about what they are about to get themselves into, especially Davidson.
