Hank released an article about UGA and Mack.

I guess it's in the recruits react to Kirby Smart thread.

In any case, Bone and Garcia both say UGA is a legit contender for his signature.

Grows up a huge Alabama fan, family is all Alabama, goes to Georgia because of one guy who has never been a head coach.

Makes sense.

I can't remember the last recruit to leave an in-state program for an out-of-state program due to a coordinator change when the head coach is still in place.

Some are also saying Kiffin is gone, not necessarily to UGA tho.

Yeah, some are saying the Kiffin gone has to do with his, umm, extracurricular activities and not with UGA.

Still, I'd rather keep him on another year. Changing both coordinators

With National Signing Day just a few months away and many top prospects taking official visits, it is time to take a look at who had a November to remember on the recruiting trail.

Overview: Nick Saban's recruiting machine continues to roll along in Tuscaloosa with two new four-stars deciding to join the Crimson Tide in November. Rivals250 receiver Trevon Diggs, of Maryland, was the first to commitment of the month. Diggs was quickly joined by Tuscaloosa product and 2017 Rivals250 running back Brian Robinson.

What's Georgia getting in Kirby Smart? For one, they have kept themselves in the race for 2017 five-star linebacker Nate McBride of Vidalia.

"That's big," McBride said of the hire. "I'm excited, because I wish Mark Richt was still the coach, but you can tell he's at peace with the decision. The next best thing is Kirby Smart."

McBride, the nation's No. 10 player in the junior class, had previously planned to take Georgia out of contention if Richt and company were dismissed, but he seems to have changed his tune on Tuesday night.

"Really, the best thing to come in is Kirby Smart," McBride said. "I'm glad they got him, and I'm excited for him. I think he'll be great at Georgia. I mean, he played there. It might take a year or two, but he'll be alright, I believe."

What will the Bulldogs get in Smart from a recruiting standpoint?

"He's a great guy and a great recruiter," McBride said. "He was my favorite at Alabama, and that why I liked them so much. That's why I like him being at Georgia. He's a great guy, like I said. He lets you know if it's right or wrong, or if you're good or not. He's an upfront guy. He's truthful. He's going to congratulate you when you do something good, and he's going to be on you if you don't. That's what I like."

The 6-foot-1, 221 pound linebacker says the Bulldogs could not have picked a more Georgia-centric personality.

"He seems like a down south Georgia boy," McBride said. "I guess he's coming back home, because he sounds like every one of us. He's laid back, and so is Coach Saban. He's real nice. He'll make jokes with you and talk about football. He's the kind of guy I'm used to being around."

When it comes to his personal status, McBride is clear about his standings with the Bulldogs.

"It definitely keeps Georgia in the mix," McBride said. "I want to see first who he brings in, who comes in, and who gets fired. I've got to let the smoke clear. After that, I'll see what happens with my recruitment process."

Even so, the coveted defender hopes to see some of the previous staff still in the fold.

"I'd like to see (Jeremy) Pruitt, (Mike) Ekeler, and (Kevin) Sherrer retained," McBride said. "One's the d-coordinator, and the other two are linebacker coaches, so those are three great coaches and great guys."

He gone.

Hope he waits, may be an option if Kiffin is gone.

Pep Hamilton is a name, if he doesn't back into a HC job.

Would be terrified if Charlie Weis was interviewed, as he was a practice a few times this year(largely in part because his son is an analyst).

A BOL "insider" claiming that Smart wants Pruitt, but the brass won't let him keep him. So it seems that Smart won't have the type of control Saban has at Bama. UGA gonna UGA.

We lost both Applewhite (Texas) and Steele (demoted) after the 2007 season and did alright.

Can you imagine Kirby and Pruitt recruiting the state of Georgia as a collective unit?

I'm glad UGA is UGAing that away. shite, not only would we be locked out of Georgia, but we'd struggle to keep our in-state players home.

IF we get Pruitt, then I don't think we will miss a beat with the Alabama Big Three.

I agree.

I think if we can land Pruitt, keep Cochran and Cristobal and replace Kiffin (assuming he leaves) with a good recruiting OC then we will be more than fine.

In fact, that may even be an upgrade. I haven't been too enamored with Lane's recruiting successes while at Alabama. The best prospect he helped land was Tosh Lupoi.

Three-star kicker Eddy Pineiro has been committed to Alabama since the summer, and by the looks of the video he just posted on Twitter, the Crimson Tide are getting a prospect with plenty of leg.

Seventy-seven yards worth of leg, to be exact. Pineiro shared a video of him drilling a 77-yard field goal during a workout.

77 yarder the grind don’t stop working hard to be the best.

That is an absolute boot.

Florida is getting a hell of a kicker.
