Jake Fromm went off big time last night. 31 of 44 for 467 yards and 7 TDs in a rout of the other team. They played with a running clock in the 4th quarter.

I hope Cam Akers, AJ Brown (whose father appears to really like Alabama, Jeffery Simmons and Nigel Knott were all paying attention to the game during their visit to Starkville yesterday.

Robinson, a long-time Seminole commitment, is also considering Alabama, Florida and Georgia. He has already officially visited Alabama.
"It was a good visit," Robinson said. "Everything was great. I really liked it up there."
As for the other two SEC schools in pursuit, Robinson said he will also see them officially.
"I know I’m going to take one to Florida and Georgia, but I don’t have those dates set," Robinson said. Each official serves a purpose for Robinson, who spoke on what he is looking for in his future home.
"Just somewhere where I’m going to be comfortable for the next four years," Robinson said. "Just bonding with the coaches and getting to know the cities and stuff."
The 247Sports.com Composite ranks Robinson No. 63 overall and as the No. 4 weak-side defensive end in the nation. Note: Robinson played through a wrist injury throughout the season. He spoke on that Friday evening.
"I had surgery like three or four weeks ago. I tore my UCL. I had a pin and two screws. I got my pin out yesterday," Robinson said.

I don't have VIP, but reading between the lines it looks like Nee is saying that FSU had Robinson schedule his OV for this weekend to counter some Alabama momentum. Interdasting.

Emmons on Friday night in the 1st round of the playoffs had 3tds and 137 yards and again did not need him the whole game. If correct he has only played one full game this season. He also went over 100 TDs now in 3 years playing varsity via rushing, receiving, return game, and pick 6.
He nows has over 2400 yards on the season on 184 carries just a little over 13 yards per carry. 40 TDs this season 5 different ways

The one sentiment that they still resist and, by and large, won't admit, is that they simply got lucky in that first game. They played outstanding defense. But we shot ourselves in the foot enough times in that game (unforced in many cases) to last several games. The better team lost in the first game, got their crap together, and reamed them out one good time in the rematch. As good as they were that year, we would have beaten them 7 out of 10 times at a minimum. We were better on offense and defense than they were, plain and simple.
I actually believe our 2011 team is one of the best teams in recent college football history. We broke it off up inside of every team we played except for them in the first game. Every other game was a win by 16 or more points, if I'm not mistaken.

That was one of the best overall OF and Def teams I can remember in a long time. Our Def this year is up there if not better but our OF isn't there.

With that in mind, does Little have a new commitment timeline?
"Not yet," he said. "Probably in the next month or so."
To put Allen's potential playoff run in a time perspective, if AHS once again reaches the state championship game, that contest will be played Saturday, Dec. 19. Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze attended Friday's game with the Rebels on their bye week. The 6-foot-6, 290-pound Little, who is the Lone Star State's No. 1 recruit, said it meant a lot for Freeze to come watch him in person.
"It's an honor," Little said. "It makes me wanna play harder."
Little said Freeze is one of the main coaches recruiting him for Ole Miss, in addition to recruiting coordinator/defensive line coach Chris Kiffin and co-offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Matt Luke. What are they telling Little?
"'Come on, man. You have a chance to earn a spot if you work hard. In a couple years we'll be special.'"
Little's most-recent official visit came a week ago, when he took in Alabama's 30-16 win against LSU in Tuscaloosa on Nov. 7. Little came away impressed by the trip.
"It was great, man," he said. "It's very business-like. It definitely gets you prepared for the next level. I feel like they make you a man there, so I liked it a lot."
Little said his primary recruiters at Alabama are head coach Nick Saban, receivers coach Billy Napier, and offensive line coach Mario Cristobal.

My favorite part is the one guy trying to act like OKST could've beat them.
LSU would have crushed OKST 35-14, probably worse.

Akers seems very similar to Damien Harris. Agree or disagree?

Henry Ruggs named us his leader last week.

PHENIX CITY, Ala. - The weekend in Alabama centered around Phenix City (Ala.) Central's 20-13 overtime win over Montgomery (Ala.) Robert E. Lee on Friday. There were plenty of FBS-bound prospects on the field under the lights, but the trip through Alabama also included stops at other high schools that house top-level talent. Below are news, notes and takeaways from Friday night's game and beyond.
quote:
I WAS IMPRESSED WITH …
Lee wide receiver Henry Ruggs was on the losing end of Friday's game, but he was, by far, the star of the show. Ruggs possesses elite speed that he used to catch five passes for more than 120 yards. He's still developing as a wide receiver. There's a reason that Ruggs, who is just a junior, already holds scholarship offers from Alabama, Florida and others. Ruggs is one of the top juniors in the state and seems to have room to get even better. He was his team's first offensive weapon and impacted the game from start to finish.
Central linebacker Markail Benton keeps adding good weight and is becoming a college-ready prospect in a hurry. On Friday, his name was called often as he functioned as a run-stuffer up the middle and created chaos on a number of passing downs as well. Benton is versatile for a player of his size and moves incredibly well laterally. As he becomes stronger and more assignment-sound, he'll improve as a prospect.

I WAS SURPRISED BY …
Lee's Edward Johnson has incredible upside. Just a sophomore, the young defensive back is already 6-foot-2 and covers extremely well for a player of his size. On Friday, he did a tremendous job covering touted prospect Justyn Ross and showed a level of physicality rare in prospects of his youth. The 180-pound Johnson has the tools to develop into a high-level college prospect if he continues to refine his skill set.
Central sophomore Justyn Ross has plenty of scholarship offers already and showed why in flashes. He has incredible length and runs as well as any player of his size. Ross was injured in the second half and could be seen on crutches after the game. A 2018 prospect, Ross has a bright future and will likely hold more than 30 offers before things are said and done.
Central wide receiver Jamal Couch made the day's most impressive catch late in the first half. Couch, who will play defense for the Seminoles, showed his quickness and his acceleration while play receiver and ran open more often that he was targeted. There's a lot to like about Couch, who will need to add strength before being ready to contribute in the ACC.
