Hearing some VERY good things on Devin White. I maintain what I have said for months now. I'll be surprised if he doesn't wind up in Tuscaloosa.

We have a ton of space open correct? I remember reading earlier this year we had like 27-28 spots we could give out, and we're only at 18.
Sorry for the late entry into the thread guys and wanting a bunch of info, this is just normally around the time I try and catch up with recruiting every year. It's a fun ride to NSD, and I want to bone up before all the commits come rolling in.

Yes, and a good chance that we lose a couple committed guys. 28 is still the number. Looking at a few more Jucos than we were a month or two ago. Jonathan Kongbo is very coveted.

We are also feeling very good about Rashard Lawrence again.
Kind of amazing how we could have success recruiting in Louisiana, in a state where one of the top programs in the country with a large, passionate fanbase resides, but yet have so many struggles in our bordering state, Mississippi, where two perennially mediocre programs reside that don't have the same level of passionate fanbases.
Yep, I'm sure Freeze is just simply that good of a recruiter.

We need defensive linemen in the worst way. Need to secure another Ashawn in this class. Too bad Gary's mom got pissed off with us.

I don't think his mom got pissed at us. I've not heard that one. Just that she has favored a couple other places. Ole Miss thinks they are going to pull him from under Michigan's noses, though. At this point, I'm not about to doubt them, as ridiculous as it looks for elite national recruits to be signing with them.

Yeah, it's not that she's mad at Bama or anything, she just prefers other places.
For example, she liked Auburn more. Doubt he goes there, but she was impressed by them...
