Class of 2018 QB Allan Walters on Alabama:
uhhhh...we taken two in 2018?

Until we have a play maker starting at QB and a serviceable backup, we should take four a year. I'm tired of the misses at QB.

Short answer: Why not.
Long answer: I suspect you must be thinking of 2017 Jake Fromm. We don't have a QB commit for 2018.

I think he means do we take both Allan Walters and Jack West since they both have pretty good ties to Bama

UK needs to be the team breaking out the checkbook for some DL recruits. Boy, their DL is glacially slow. And yet somehow Matt "Crisco" Elam still doesn't get on the field much.

Even as overrated as 247 made him, Elam made the worst decision for his football future at UK.
There is nothing to that program that will push him to reach his potential. He'll be coddled because he's the "big time player" who spurned bigger schools to play for the home team. And he'll still play because there's nothing in the cupboard.
All size, no game. Like Brandon Ivory and Darren Lake out of high school, showed out in camps because he was just physically bigger. That "gimmick" gets played out quickly in college, and they are have to overhaul his physique. Look how long it took to fix Ivory and Lake to have an impact, essentially their senior years.
Send him through the recruiting process again, I doubt Bama would even touch him....

Eddy Pineiro (@eddypineiro1) '150 percent' committed to #Alabama
Looks like he received the bag of cash I dropped off on his door step.

Please let us keep Pineiro. I don't want to melt over a kicker.

Can one of these #1 kickers work out for ONCE?!?! The law of averages says we're WAYYYYYYY past due.
And for all that's good and decent, just LEAVE HIM ALONE when he gets on campus. Let him coach himself. Stay the heck away from him, coaching staff. Just let him do his thing.

Free Al.com Content regarding Marlon Davidson's commitment to Auburn
quote:
Thursday at his Under Armour All-America jersey presentation, the Greenville five-star defensive end stood by his word, noting that his commitment to Auburn is at 75 percent.
"I still want to get out to other schools," Davidson said. "You never know, any school can change my mind. With that being said, the only thing they have to do is recruit me and welcome me as a person on their team.
"The 75 percent is that my focus is on Auburn but still focus is also on other teams."
quote:
"I talked to coach (Bo) Davis yesterday," Davidson said. "He was checking in on me, letting me know he was going to come to one of my games and show his face."

Marquee conference matchups in the Big Ten and SEC highlight an exciting seventh weekend of this college football season. As usual, recruits will be on the move in bunches as they continue to explore options three-and-a-half months shy of national signing day.
A battle in Baton Rouge between LSU and Florida will attract plenty of top prospects, as will a matchup in Ann Arbor featuring Michigan and Michigan State. Saturday may prove to be a separator for playoff contenders and pretenders, putting plenty of pressure on programs to perform.
These teams must also deliver off the field, hosting players they envision as potential mainstays for future title runs. Here's a look at several key campus visits to monitor in the coming days.

Michigan: 5-star TE Isaac Nauta
Class: 2016
High School: IMG Academy (Bradenton, Florida)
Size: 6'4", 237 lbs.
247Sports Composite Ranking: No. 1 tight end; No. 9 overall
Isaac Nauta ranks among the finest tight end prospects we've scouted this decade and already appears well-equipped to compete in college. He's a tenacious force in the trenches, evidenced by strong play at defensive end.
This aggressiveness lends itself perfectly to his blocking efforts, which balance out excellent route-running technique and reliable hands. Nauta has 10 receptions for 171 yards and two scores through six games in a star-studded offensive attack led by 5-star Ole Miss quarterback commit Shea Patterson, per MaxPreps.
Nauta, a Georgia native, already used an official visit in Athens. He's also planned trips to TCU, Alabama and Ole Miss.
"I want to get a feel on how the players view Coach [Jim] Harbaugh as a leader and a person," Nauta told Bleacher Report last month. "There's definitely a lot of new things to look at with Michigan. In just a few games, they've already shown how much they like to use the tight end."
