I'm starting to wonder why we aren't pursuing another running back. It seems that White is going elsewhere, and Emmons may or may not qualify. We are losing two RBs this year.

What is the deal?

I haven't heard about any other running backs besides Devin White. Maybe Jarrion Street, OM commit, as a backup plan, but other than that it seems that we might strike out at RB if Emmons doesn't qualify. Kind of like our 2014 RB class.

I have to think they have a list and they are recruiting every guy on the list. No point and taking a guy who isnt worth it if hes not on your list. We can get guys like Gore for non scholarship that are just as good as most of those other mediocre guys.

One thing i have learned over the last few years is since our boosters are not plugged into the program, recruiting info is absolutely crap. There are tons of guys Bama gets that are a complete surprise. Im sure they are talking to a few guys we just dont know about.

Devin Asiasi was blown away on his visit. His mother was blown away. He'll return with more family next month. We are in very good shape.

Maybe the next offensive coordinator can figure out how to use him.

Been saying it, he's not one of those West Coast guys who just have a token interest, he's really interest in Bama.

Alabama fell to No. 13 in AP Top 25 despite 34-0 win over Louisiana Monroe. It's the lowest Alabama has been ranked since Dec. 5, 2010 (15)

With us facing UGA and TAMU on the road, I wonder how low we could fall in the AP poll.

Most they are recruiting at this point are committed, likely getting officials from Abdul Adams and Kareem Walker.

How's Denzel Mitchell, the Ole Miss RB commit from Hamilton, doing this season?

Still don't think he's seen action, tore his Achilles in the Spring.

Looking at an October debut...

Three-star Oak Ridge tight end Darel Middleton struggled catching the ball on Thursday night, dropping three very catchable passes. Middleton finished the night with just one grab before leaving the game with an injury. The former Tennessee and Arizona State commit is listed at 6-foot-6 and 250 pounds, but looks like he might be even bigger, leading me to believe his future may be as either an offensive lineman or a defensive tackle. Middleton has size and is pretty athletic, but I'm not sure tight end is where he has the most potential going forward.

I didn't even know he was back on the market.

Free Rivals' Content of Ben Davis' Friday Night Highlights (video)

This is what I was talking about. He is Charmin soft right now. May have good measurables, but he's NOT a football player right now. He would be a project.

Ben Davis? I thought you were saying that about Raekwon Davis?

Some of our LSU friends seem to be growing confident that they land Ben Davis.
