He is putting up crazy numbers.Reminds me of Henry in High School. Except Henry carried the ball 30,40+ times per game. He was the whole offense. Emmons gets to sit out most of the games because his team is so far ahead.

Emmons, who didn’t get a single carry his freshman year but already held the county rush TDs record after last season, ended the night with 18 carries for 325 yards and four TDs. “It gave us an advantage,” Emmons said of the run. “It’s a good honor knowing what kind of athletes we’ve had here and knowing that I’m able to be at the top of the list. It’s a blessing. But I couldn’t do it without my line; they’re the ones that got me those yards.”
After the record-breaking run, his next touch put the win on ice. Emmons fielded a punt at his own 5 near the sideline, juked and stiff-armed two would-be tacklers in rapid succession, then picked up blocks and eluded even more defenders zeroing in on him, exploding down the field for a 95-yard return and a 28-3 lead midway through the second period.
Emmons now has scored 95-plus yard touchdowns three different ways this season (rushing, punt return, interception).

Always given the credit to others before himself. Looking forward to him wearing Crimson. Harris, Bo, and BJ will be a nice trio in the backfield next year.

Nigel Knott on his visit to Alabama this past weekend (he also visited MSU for their game against LSU):
At least we have some confirmation that Raekwon Davis finally made it back on campus.

The elite cornerback took an unofficial visit to Alabama on Saturday for the Tide’s game against Middle Tennessee State, before making the short drive over to Starkville for the Bulldogs bout with LSU. Knott spoke with BamaOnline about the visit and his upcoming decision.
“Saturday went good,” Knott said. “We were just chilling. We drove up and met with all the coaches. We walked around the quad and then headed into the game. We got to go on the field during pre-game and watched the DBs warm up."
“There’s more hype in bigger games, but it was still fun. I got to hang out with Raekwon Davis.”
At least we have some confirmation that Raekwon Davis finally made it back on campus.

Terrell Hall quote:
It appears he is down to Alabama, Florida, Florida State and Tennessee. He may commit at the Under Armour game and says his OVs will play a big role in his decision. He is taking his first OV to Florida to see them play Tennessee.
He's taking an UOV to see us this weekend and plans on coming back for an OV. I think that's pretty good news for us.

“I like (Alabama’s) versatility on defense and then the fact that with their academics that all their majors kind of fit me. I like the way they coach; it’s basically like a player’s-type dream school. You could go there and it’s a school that fits you as a player. I wouldn’t say they have the biggest edge, but that’s the leading school that I’ve seen.”
Is Alabama the team to beat going into the officials?
“I guess you could say that, yeah,” Hall said.

Maryland standout Trevon Diggs postponed college commitment plans in July but appears to be on track for an announcement this fall. The 4-star prospect told Ryan Bartow of 247Sports he envisions a decision "right after the season." The Avalon School wraps up its regular season Nov. 7, though action may extend into the playoffs.
Diggs, a two-way playmaker rated fifth nationally among athletes in 2016 composite rankings, is considering several options. He was expected to reveal collegiate intentions this summer but had a change of heart after speaking with older brother and Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs.
"He's been through this whole process himself so he's able to offer advice whenever I need it. I trust him, listened to him and decided to push things back," Trevon told Bleacher Report a few days later at The Opening, an invite-only football showcase in Oregon. Diggs, a 6'0", 183-pound wide receiver and defensive back, could ultimately contribute on either side of the ball in college. He lined up at both positions during camps this offseason, showing immense versatility coveted by coaching staffs.
Bleacher Report national recruiting analyst Sanjay Kirpalani documented his diverse skill set while contributing to B/R's CFB Recruiting 200 series. "He's elusive in open space and has great hands," Kirpalani wrote. "He attacks the ball in the air, which also makes him an intriguing option in the secondary. However, he appears to be a natural with the ball in his hands." Diggs caught 78 passes last season, racking up 1,008 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior.
This compelling recruitment could be two months away from a conclusion, setting the stage for a frenzied final stretch as programs attempt to separate from an eclectic pack of possible suitors. Here's a look at some of the latest buzz surrounding top contenders and odds for his top three potential landing spots.

Alabama: 2-to-1
Diggs publicly declared the Crimson Tide as his favorite early in this process and continues to stand by that statement. He told Bleacher Report that Alabama remained the team to beat shortly after postponing his announcement.
This sentiment is seemingly still intact, as Alabama assistant Tosh Lupoi spearheads the Tide's recruiting efforts. "He actually was recruiting my brother when he was at Cal, so we already had a strong relationship," Diggs told ChatSports.com this spring. "My mom likes him a lot; he’s just really close to my family. We have a very good relationship.”
Alabama maintains excellent momentum here and he's worn team-themed gloves during competition in the past. This is the Tide's race to lose. "They haven't shown me nothing bad so why lose their spot," Diggs told Bartow.

The first two weeks of the college football season have provided a fair amount of surprises and strong performances from the nation's top teams. A few teams have already pulled out into the front of the race for the College Football Playoff with big wins over quality opponents, while others have seen their stock plummet thanks to some bad outings.
With a weird Week 2 in the books, let's go through the latest AP Top 25 poll and break each team down with one fundamental question—playoff contender or playoff pretender? To be completely fair to all of these quality ranked teams, these answers are based solely on a small sample size of two weekends of action. The contenders have looked championship caliber early on this season, while the pretenders have failed to impress.
Of course, there is still plenty of time for pretenders to rise up and become contenders (remember Auburn in 2013 and Ohio State in 2014?) and vice versa, especially with some first real tests coming up for programs that have gotten off to hot starts.

2. Alabama
Win vs. No. 24 Wisconsin, 35-17
Win vs. Middle Tennessee State, 37-10
Alabama climbed one spot in the AP poll after Week 1 with its 18-point victory over Wisconsin at AT&T Stadium, one of the few matchups between ranked opponents in the first two weeks of the season.
As Alabama continues to sort out the starter situation in a passing attack that has averaged 288 yards per game, running back Derrick Henry has gotten off to a strong start. In Week 2, Middle Tennessee State was able to move the ball in a bit of a letdown game for Alabama, but the Tide defense flexed its muscles in the red zone to limit them to just 10 points on the day.
"We played better as the game went on, on defense," Alabama head coach Nick Saban said, per Bleacher Report's Christopher Walsh. "They did a lot of things that we weren’t very well-prepared for, and we had to make a lot of adjustments during the game, but I thought the players did a really good job of that."
The Crimson Tide don't have the best two-week resume among title contenders, and they have several areas that need more improvement. But even with those questions, the early-season results have been great for Alabama.
Verdict: Contender

I HATE LSU but they're not a pretender. They can line up with U.S. athlete for athlete. Harris numbers are more of a product of the second half schematics that they were a reflection of his ability. Miles got a lead and then closed the offense down.
