He pushed his commitment date back 3 days to July 16th.

He said Auburn has their guy in Barrett and they aren't in his Top 4.

The nation's No. 1 recruit Rashan Gary is a big-time battle the Wolverines could definitely win.

Harbaugh and his staff are also fighing for blue-chippers like five-star linebacker Caleb Kelly, Top100 offensive guard Terrance Davis, Top100 defensive end Xavier Kelly, Top247 defensive end Khalid Kareem, Top100 linebacker Dontavious Jackson, tight end Naseir Upshur, Top247 offensive tackle Devery Hamilton, Devin Bush Jr., Ahmir Mitchell, Brad Hawkins, David Long and Top100 offensive tackle Jean Delance.

From this group, Michigan has already secured a couple of them, just waiting for the right time for it to go public.

I bolded the ones we are after.

I wonder who on that list is already a silent commit to Michigan?

This 4-star DT has visited #Alabama more than any other school (

Michail Carter. I wonder if this is a case where if UGA keeps Rochester and lands Brown, Carter could fall into our laps. We could certainly offer a chance to compete for playing time as Ashawn and Reed are both gone after this year.

Nah. I'll go ahead and hype Ridley. He's about as close to "can't miss" as they come. Nothing wrong with what I said.

Yes, the Jeudy info is from DrewD and Redfish.

Please don't start with the anti-redfish stuff. It gets old in a hurry. I know both guys personally, and I can assure you that his info is very good. I've seen, though, that when people on Alabama fan sites make their mind up about somebody, they never change their opinion, so it's futile to even start with it.

Nobody brought up Redfish.

Why even go down that road?

Chance Warmack was a 3-star. Guards are always mis-evaluated.

Someone up the board mentioned AI. Also, someone was speculating earlier where I get a lot of my info. Somebody complains about redfish 100 times out of 100 when that's mentioned (in my experience). Thought I'd save them the trouble.

We made Elysee Mbem-Bosse's top 7:

Auburn bound IMO. Especially if we land Jackson, Davis, and Wilson.

We did not make Parker Boudreaux's top five of Clemson, Georgia Southern, Notre Dame, Florida, and Oklahoma.

I hate it when Georgia Southern beats us out for recruits.

The linebacker group at the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge Presented by Under Armour included several top prospects. We take a look at those who stood out the most while in Baltimore.

quote:

1 LB Lyndell Wilson
Montgomery (Ala.) Carver

Out of all the five-star linebackers in Baltimore, Wilson was easily the best. He had multiple interceptions during the one-on-one session, a drill in which linebackers usually struggle. During the 7-on-7 tournament, Wilson quickly processed the information in front of him and reacted to either deny the pass or knock the ball down. He is such a smooth runner and is surprisingly athletic for a player of his size (6-1, 230). There is no doubt Wilson is an elite linebacker.

Yet he doesn't "fit" in the Auburn defense.

2 LB Ben Davis
Gordo, Ala.

Davis has ideal size (6-3, 234) and length to play linebacker at the next level. He played very well in space and could play inside or outside linebacker in college. It was good to see his awareness and reaction time during the seven-on-seven tournament. Davis was very physical in the middle of the field and it was rare to see a pass completed in his area.
