4. Ben Davis - Says he can't see Wayne Davis' son going anywhere but Alabama. Thinks its very close to a lock
Prediction: Bama

5. Lyndell Wilson - Thinks he has connections to both Bama and AU, but Bama's pull with playing time going to be available and being former teammate & friends with SDH & molding himself after CJ Mosley.
Prediction: Bama
if we get these 2 i dont care what else happens. cant see why a LB in this class would want to go anywhere but bama if offered. we are the modern LB U, and for a change there is playing time available upcoming. they would be nuts to go anywhere else. our linebacker track record is impeccable and our system highlights them.

That's what he said and basically that Lindell's idol and who he patterns his game after is CJ Mosley (not a bad ILB to emulate) and Ben seems like Marlons recruitment to me. He is a surfire superstar and a legacy to boot.

The 2006 defensive class will be stacked once all is said and done

VESTAVIA HILLS, Ala. -- According to Alabama head coach Nick Saban, all of the Crimson Tide's remaining signees from its top-ranked recruiting class of 2015 are on campus in Tuscaloosa. Saban confirmed this when he spoke to the media ahead of the ninth annual Nick's Kids Golf Tournament.

He shared his recent message to the newly-enrolled freshmen with reporters before Thursday morning's event.

"My message to all of our guys when they come in is all the same," Saban said Thursday. "It doesn't really change from what we've talked to them about in recruiting. We're going to do everything that we can do to help them be more successful in life because you're involved with the program.

"We have a standard of excellence that we try to achieve in terms of your personal development, your academic development and your athletic development. Hopefully doing all these things the right way, making the right choices and decisions in these areas are going to help you be successful.

"We all have total control of our choices in our lives. We've got zero control of the consequences. So to get guys to have enough foresight to make good choices and decisions is going to help them take advantage of the gifts and opportunities that they have. That's something that we try to emphasize with the players on and off the field."

Alabama's remaining signees that did not enroll early included five five-star prospects, nine four-star prospects and two three-star prospects to match its seven January enrollees, including athlete Bo Scarbrough, that are already on campus.

leon brown kinda soured me on juco tackles from NY (i think he was at the exact same school as baldwin). he was huge and played small, raw when he got here and stayed raw. the fact that he was starting speaks to the state of our oline the last 2 years

Sounds like Bama coaches are SUPER high on Baldwin's potential. Like "one and done" type high on his potential as a RT. Good year to have a potential need to sign a Juco OLman. Both Baldwin and Bolles are good ones.

I've heard that they are shooting for October. If he's ready then, there's a good chance they will play him. I know some will hope we sit him regardless based on Eddie Jackson. We'll see. He's doing very well, though. Burton Burns has said he's a very quick healer. Cam Sims' injury, unfortunately, was MUCH worse. He had some bone damage, and is expected to be 12-18 months recovery. The hope with Sims is for him to be ready for Fall camp 2016.

247Sports Director or Scouting Barton Simmons breaks down what Alabama is getting with the dynamic commitment:

Anyone with questions about what Alabama’s offense will look like in the future can look to this Netori Johnson pickup as a great indication,” Simmons said. “The kid is a running back’s dream. He’s a massive, road-grading blocker with good feet and awesome punch. He’s the type of dude that will lean on defensive linemen all day long and wear them down into the third and fourth quarters.

BALTIMORE -- Any gathering of top prospects comes with a slate of storylines, and the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge Presented by Under Armour is no exception. There will be plenty of things to watch when the event gets started inside Baltimore's M&T Bank Stadium on Saturday. Below are 10 things to keep an eye on as the action gets under way.

Increased attention will surround new five-stars N'Keal Harry and Darnell Salomon, a pair of wide receivers that made massive jumps in the recently released Rivals100. Salomon is now the No. 16 prospect in America while Harry now ranks 21st. The lofty rankings, combined with massive jumps, will bring extra scrutiny to the duo. Harry is a longer, smother target than the more compact Salomon's, whose game centers on devastating explosiveness, strength and top-end speed.

The Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge roster is littered with underclassmen, some of which will arrive with big reputations. Which one will perform the best is a tricky question, as such a thing is hard to predict. There are, however, some options. Five-star defensive back DeAngelo Gibbs is certainly one of the favorites. As is five-star wide receiver Trevon Grimes, who has a loaded offer list and big talent as well. Defensive back Stanford Samuels has been solid this offseason and shined at nearly every event in which he's participated.

Five-stars Nate Craig-Myers and Darnell Salomon lead a group of eight Florida-based wide receivers that will compete in Baltimore. The group is familiar with each other and the competition among it should be fierce. Craig and Salomon, along with four-star prospects Sam Bruce, T.J. Chase, Elijah Stove and Binjimen Victor all believe they are the top wideout in the state. The state of Florida is well-represented in the overall receiver rankings and the top eight players at the position are all in Baltimore.

Four Georgia-based underclassmen defensive backs will arrive in Baltimore looking to prove themselves. It's inevitable that one will stand out from the pack. William Poole, Isaiah Pryor, LeAnthony Williams and Richard LeCounte are all familiar with one and other and that may drive their competitive nature. Next year will be a strong one for defensive backs in Georgia, and performing well at the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge would be a good way to get a jump on the pack.

Pelicanpreps.com will be releasing a position by position ranking of Louisiana's top 2016 prospects. The athletes ranked are not set in stone and subject to change as the weeks pass. The defensive linemen are a group on the rise heading into the fall. Here is a look at the top 10 defensive linemen regardless of position in Louisiana.

quote:

(1) Andre Anthony

Edna Karr (LA)

Anthony heads the list of top defensive linemen for 2016. He is extremely athletic and has a quick first step. Nationally he is the no. 19 weak side defensive end and no. 23 in the state overall. Anthony's stock has risen rapidly during the camp circuit thus far and the offers continue to pour in. Last season he starred for the now defunct Miller-McCoy (LA) Lions, where he started his prep career. He will now be taking his talents to 4-A power Edna Karr (LA), with hopes of gaining even more exposure. The 3-star playmaker has to always be accounted for during pre-snap reads. He has a knack for finding the ball and runs very well sideline to sideline. Don't be surprised to see him continue to rise even higher when the dust settles.
