Speaking of Harris, my Ohio State buddy sent me a text yesterday saying that Harris is looking around now that Steele is gone. He went so far to say that their "insiders" are saying he is definitely reconsidering his commitment.

I don't see how an ILBer coach, who wasn't even Harris' primary recruiter, leaving would cause him to re-open his recruitment. Burton Burns is his primary recruiter FWIW.

Has anyone seen anything to validate these statements? I know BOL said 10 hours ago that Harris was solid.

From Ryan Bartow:

quote:

Beyond Cristobal seeing Minkah for an in-home this evening and Napier having an in-home with the two commits from Monarch HS, they'll also stop by to see the top 2016 wide receivers in the Miami area including:

Freddie Pinder, Keyshawn "Pie" Young, Darnell Salomon, Antonio Callaway (2015 target), Mark Walton (2015 target), Brandon Johnson and Binjimen Victor.

I just can't believe that Harris would look around just because his recruiter left. That just doesn't make sense.
If he decommits I will be very butthurt. Lol

That's just it. Steele wasn't even his recruiter.

I don't see how one school losing an ILBer coach would cause a RB to look around when the other school he is supposedly looking at just lost their offensive coordinator.

Doesn't make sense. I looked at his Twitter and he doesn't mention anything concerning.
Hopefully your friend is just messing with you or was given bad info.

If a running back decommits because a LB coach took another job, he didn't want to be here to begin with.

OSU fans and so called insiders are now acting like Texas fans with Saban thinking he really wanted to coach there. They won something and think everybody wants to play there.

I have read on some of their board they truly believe the reason our coaches are leaving is because no one wants to coach for Saban or they are jumping off a sinking ship because OSU showed UA is at the end of their current success.

Oh he's a douchebag alright, but he keeps up with recruiting fairly well. I know he likes the Ohio State Scout guys so I assume that is where he is getting it.

After thorough study using specific scoring criteria, Bleacher Report recruiting analysts Sanjay Kirpalani and Tyler Donohue have graded the top 200 players in the 247Sports Composite Rankings and provided in-depth analysis. As national signing day draws near, Bleacher Report provides a position-by-position breakdown of the best college football recruits. Today, we present the Overall Top 200.

The Class of 2015 is loaded with impressive talent. It's perhaps strongest on the defensive side of the ball, but there are still a great deal of offensive players who will be major household names.

Stud high school players from Florida, Texas and California dominate the top overall rankings, but nearly every state is represented in 247Sports Composite Rankings, which compile ratings listed by the major media recruiting services.

Some of the players in the top overall rankings will go on to make an immediate impact next season, while others will continue to develop and learn before getting their chance to shine.

This list provides a glimpse of college football's future stars and how they've arrived at this point. Continue on for our review of the rankings, complete with individual scouting reports and insight on each prospect.

Be sure to sound off in the comments below with your thoughts on overall rankings, scores and recruit projections.

Note: 247Sports Composite Rankings are scheduled to update on Monday, Jan. 19. We will update this list accordingly once new rankings are released.

97. 4-star OT Isaiah Prince

Height/Weight: 6'6", 272 lbs

High School: Eleanor Roosevelt High School; Greenbelt, Maryland

247Sports Ranking: No. 6 OT/No. 97 overall

Bleacher Report Score: 82/100

Uncommitted: Considering Ohio State, Maryland and Alabama

Isaiah Prince is being pulled toward his home-state Terrapins, but a pair of national powerhouses loom large. He is set to spend time at Alabama and Ohio State in January, taking things down to the wire.

Bleacher Report Analysis

Prince may have desirable size and length, but there are significant strides to be made before he can make an impact at the collegiate level. His lack of power (10/15) limits the amount of damage he's able to do off the snap and leaves him as an average run-blocker (7/10).

There's a lot to like about his physique and the way he deals with pass-protection responsibilities (23/25). Prince implements a smooth slide-step and sustains solid bend as his duties command lateral movement.

It's difficult to project Prince as an immediate-impact tackle, but a redshirt season could allow him to develop into a quality bookend.

94. 4-star OT Drew Richmond

Height/Weight: 6'5", 310 lbs

High School: Memphis University School; Memphis, Tennessee

247Sports Ranking: No. 5 OT/No. 94 overall

Bleacher Report Score: 90/100

Committed to: Ole Miss on Sept. 9, 2014

The Rebels reeled in Drew Richmond despite substantial competition from SEC foes Alabama and Tennessee. He's set to spend time at Texas prior to signing day.

Bleacher Report Analysis

He provided some highlight blocks during the three-day stretch in Beaverton and appeared to implement new lessons he learned from instructors.

Richmond does a great job at the point of contact, rolling his hips and punching through the defender (15/15 for power). He was a little overanxious at times, which cost him, but it was an impressive performance overall.

He seemed to take better angles than what showed up on game tape, but of course there's a big difference between drills and live-game action when linebackers enter the equation. Richmond is ridiculously strong for a high school student and can get away with some mistakes by simply overpowering his opponent.

His reach in pass protection is solid but not spectacular (21/25). It would be interesting to see how Richmond would adapt to playing guard if asked to make that transition in college.

The outlook here is that he would benefit from a year on the sidelines, cleaning up his technique and building even more strength. Whenever Richmond is deemed ready to take on a starting role, he has plenty of promise.

88. 4-star RB DeSherrius Flowers

Height/Weight: 6'0.5", 204 lbs

High School: Vigor High School; Mobile, Alabama

247Sports Ranking: No. 12 RB/No. 88 overall

Bleacher Report Score: 87/100

Enrolled at: Alabama

Desherrius Flowers follows in the footsteps of fellow standout Mobile-area rusher T.J. Yeldon to Tuscaloosa. He committed to Alabama before many other teams became involved, ending his recruitment as a sophomore.

Bleacher Report Analysis

Flowers is a power-based rusher who maintains low pad level and makes the most of his physical frame. He attacks defenders with tenacity and refuses to sacrifice yards along the sideline, where he'd rather crash into an opponent than step out of bounds.

That fearlessness is great, but there's some concern about his downfield approach. Flowers doesn't always seem to identify ideal rushing lanes, simply plowing ahead at times instead of displaying patience by decelerating and letting things develop in front of him (16/20 vision).

He doesn't possess the quick-trigger hips to bounce things outside in a hurry, so it's imperative for Flowers to develop an enhanced sense of anticipation amid the trenches and beyond. Flowers projects as a short-yardage back and potential goal-line back at the very least.

"There's a great history of running backs at Alabama under Coach (Nick) Saban," Flowers told Bleacher Report in December. "I'm just happy to have an opportunity to potentially add my name to the list."
