The ratings are a joke, Campbell is the best WR in the country this year. Ridley did absolute nothing, Cain was a QB with a ton of potential at WR.The Barnett kid still being a 5* is complete utter joke, Wasn't there a certain kid who will be #1 pick in the NFL draft dropped from a 5* to a 4* because of obe bad practice at a all star game? The top 10 wasn't bad at all but you definitely see the system after that.

I think Patterson is better than all the 2015 class of QBs too. He's a stud. I was fixated on Eason at first but after watching Patterson's Junior film he's the guy I want most.

I think you were a little more than fixated. I was too and still think he is the better QB.

Don't get me wrong I'd love to land Eason but in camp settings where both were present Patterson has consistently outplayed Eason.

2. I was hoping if not us, Cowart would go to FSU and give Coach Mac a future top 10 pick on the DL. Why do we not see Cowart as a Jack? Sure he may outgrow it, but we could always cross train him and when/if he outgrows it, tell him to stick at DE...meh, wouldn't work.

Bama told him they don't really use the 34 much anymore, they just wanted to put him in the dirt as a 5 tech. Said he liked the honesty, but wants to play a hybrid spot.

Academic, or does he think we're bringing in too many DBs?

Didn't say, kinda a mystery on that question.

Fitzpatrick is the one worried about the amount of DBs.

Any team would be satisfied with either. I just like Eason's combination of dimensions and mechanics better. Patterson seems like he can make the reads very well though. Needs some good weight.

Patterson plays against some legit competition. Eason, not so much.

Not like it matters. We aren't getting either of them.

*No shot at Byron Cowart, out 100%. Thinks he'll pick FSU. Position turned him off.

Cowart is really determined to do sports journalism and is doing a lot of research on UF's and AU's programs. FSU doesn't even have a journalism major, so that may end up eliminating them in the end

I would say, "Well if Les gets fired...", but:

1) That will never happen, they like mediocrity.
2) Bama is better off with him being LSU's HC.

Still wonder if Cam Cameron gets a call when these new NFL HCs get hired. Again, probably better off him sticking around

I agree, I think Bone just guessed and has shut down that channel of info because Bama is out.

Im not a fan of signing an elite QB 3 classes in a row... I like space. We already have Cornwell and Barnett going against one another

Mack Wilson's recruitment will pick up. If you cant already tell, Alabama is not allowing as many early commitments and is trying to reserve spots because the last few years we have guys like Moton and Custis that we we took commitments from that arent exactly as qualified as others that are wanting in after they objectively learn Alabama is the place for them. Saying that, we are focusing on finishing this class filling needs, so I doubt any 2016 guys period are getting recruited hard right now since we are less than a month from NSD. March/April they will start talking us up more.

So, are we looking at Taylor as an early contributor at Nose this season?

Immediate starter at nose. He's a mammoth inside who understands the position and his role to create the chaos in the middle we haven't seen since Chapman.

If we finish with Harris and CVO, plus maybe Charlot, would we have the highest rated class of all time? It seems like this class is even more top heavy than last year.

We would be behind last year's class, but if you subtract Bo Scar from last year and add him to this year it would be our highest rated class.

Honestly, they'll probably end up bringing back a full on passing camp to evaluate several guys in 2016. They've fell out of favor with a guy like Jarrett Guarantano, but if he doesn't decide in the middle of this month, they might be able to get him in on a visit. Works out with Gary and Walker, so chances are he could go with them to Bama.

Named tOSU his leader in December, and sitting home while they are at the Ship probably doesn't help.

Mack Wilson looks like a rich man's Darrell Williams, in play and in Bama contact. He's a thick LB, but he's good in coverage. Someone just needs to put a call in, 3 months is a cold shoulder

Fish will definitely start jumping in the boat after NSD. Gotta let that ink dry before they process over half of them.

JK Scott was our prize last year. Along with the number 1 tackle, DE, OLB, top 2 corners, and a stacked OL class, while raiding Louisiana
