The U.S. Army All-American Bowl will be held tomorrow (today) where quite a few Alabama commits as well as targets will be playing. The Alabama commits that will see action include running back Dessherius Flowers, offensive lineman Dallas Warmack, and linebacker Meki Brown. Tide targets include wide receivers K.J. Hill and Lawrence Cager plus, running back Johnny Frazier and offensive tackle Chidi Valentine-Okeke. Cager will announce his decision at the game tomorrow.

The game will kickoff at 12:00 p.m. CT and will be televised on NBC.

DT Daron Payne explains why he picked Alabama over Auburn

1) His relationship with Alabama offensive line coach Mario Cristobal put the Crimson Tide over the top.

2) When asked Friday how his family reacted to his decision, he said "They're all about 'Bama, so they love it."

3) Ultimately he couldn't turn down Alabama's stellar developmental track record.

4) Opposing schools tried to use Alabama's defensive scheme against it. But, "They really don't play a lot of 3-4 - that's just their base," he said. "It really doesn't matter.

As long as I do what I have to do playing, I'll love it."

Daron Payne -

Despite his announcement Friday, Payne still plans to take official visits to Auburn and Mississippi State, in addition to Alabama. The recruiting process won't end until he signs a binding letter of intent on National Signing Day in February.

Tim Watts said based on people he talked to this morning he doesn't think Cager will choose Bama.

This is from Bone:

Lawrence Cager, four-star wide receiver from Calvert Hall HS in Towson, Md., will announce a decision today at the U.S. Army All-American game.

Some are predicting that Cager commits to Alabama. I don't think that will happen, but could down the road.

I'll predict Miami unless something major changes in the next few hours.

We've only had 60 posts deleted this year?

Progress.

I'm sure he's a great kid, but we already have Falkins, Sims and Kief on the team that fill the role he would play.

I think we should use that spot for someone else.

They are all worried we are signing too many of the bigger physical WRs but. I don't have a problem with it

I guess Cager either has some hold-ups in which case IMO he should wait to commit, or his parents don't want him at Bama

I don't have a problem with it, Cager and Kief both remind me a bit of taller Kevin Norwoods and we all loved him 2 years ago

I think Cam Sims is better than Cager but we all saw he was able to earn PT this year in a crowded group of WRs as well

• Pompano Beach (Fla.) Monarch five-star wide receiver Calvin Ridley is a firm commitment to Alabama. Florida State got him in for an official visit just before the start of the dead period and took their best shot, but Ridley made it clear at Under Armour All-America Game check-in that he intends to enroll with the Crimson Tide at the start of January. His early enrollment is not a certainty at this point though, as there remains some academic hurdles that must be overcome to be able to do so.

Shane Youngblood thinks we are in good shape to bring Charlot back into the fold.
