I dont know about about redshirts, but hell if we can hold onto the 7 DB commits we have right now (along with the guys we brought in last year) we will once again have some serious depth and versatility back there.
We are all amped about Sheffield, Minkah, and Deionte (and rightfully so) but cats like SBB, Rico and Ronnie have high ceilings as well, and dont forget about Custis. I really hope we can hang onto all of these guys but that is 7 DB's. Add that in with TB2, Marlon, and Hootie from last year and we have some serious studs.
Hell, Keaton is probably gonna be a DB as well, LOL. That's 11 in 2 years (not including Ronnie Clark). I just need Saban and Kirby to use these guys sooner rather than later...

We have 7 DB commits but have 6 DB positions. Custis is RS or gray shirt. 6 studs. 6 spots. Sheffield and Fitzpatrick at corner. Thompson and Harrison at FS and SS. SBB at star. McGraw next corner in line to come in for dime. Shift a safety back Rico moves in the slot. Easy

Ronnie Clark at LB hootie at safety would be my pick.
If iman Marshall came we could put Fitzpatrick at safety since he fits the bill best.

Valid point. Pass rush and space LBs. Good thing we have Adonis Thomas In this class. Evans could honestly probably play Mack LB like CJ did. That way miller and Williams could rush the outsides. We need to sign LBs next class for sure.

And of course we had a pass rush in 2014, but it's getting quicker with Evans/Miller.
And the sheer speed on the field with that look. TB/MH/KS are track stars.

Our class is sick. Part of the problem this year with our secondary was a lack of experienced talent. With Jones improving, Brown getting valuable reps, and Humphrey learning the playbook, I think we will be vastly improved at CB next season. Add in Sheffield and Fitzpatrick and we should be solid.
And dear God if we got Harris...
