I'm sure Dabo will find a way to waste a lot of that talent. He gets those nice looking records, but when it comes to titles, Dabo couldn't beat his dick if he had lotion on both hands.
He's like the Richt of the ACC...

I have some friends I went to Alabama with that seriously want Dabo to take over for Saban.

Maybe if Bama lands on double secret probation.
Bama can just do so much better at this point.

Don't want to see Dabo at Alabama. For an Alabama guy he seems like the quintessential Awbren coach. Oh the irony.

I guess there is a rumor going around that LSU WR Coach Adam Henry is headed to Texas A&M. If true, I assume Charlot will stick.
Also, I just want to say that Charlot is much better than KJ Hill.

It's a damn good raid by them if it goes down.

Oh by far, staff sees Charlot as an elite prospect. Won't bother me if he's not in the class, but I do hope he comes back aboard.
His aunt that he lives with is pushing LSU hard though...

Charlot is really good. I would hate to miss out on a talent like him.

Just watched the Rivals interview with Payne and IMO he wants to pick AU. He did not sound happy with Bama at all because he does not want to play the 0 nor sit. If he picks Bama on Friday it looks like it would have "bought by the REC" written all over it.

Concerning thread page volume, we were 687 pages in on December 20 last year. December 30 we reached 724.
I fear we will not reach 1,000 again
I remember when we thought it could make 1500, Stidham was the favorite QB prospect, and Leo Lewis looked like he was going with the Tide. Good times

Any reasonable person knows Payne is trying to create interest about his decision. EVERYONE has known for a year he was Bama bound.

I hope Daylon Charlot watched that prolific LSU offense against Notre Dame today.

Jawon Pass
Hard to judge a QB based off 3 practices with people you have never played with on offense. Pass, a 5-star most impressed me as a person and the way he picked up the offense quickly in practice. The coaches raved to me all week, how good he is on and off the field. He is business like and is steady in work. Pass has a big arm, he processes the game, he will continue to be highly recruited by many.

4. Laying the Mack down, bringing the Payne- The performance of defensive tackles Daron Payne and Daylon Mack so far this week backs up what I thought about both when I watched them in high school football games as juniors- they are dominant playmakers on the interior. In the games, the pair faced double teams and other types of neutralizing plans, yet still used their talent and strength to make plays (sometimes defensive tackles disappear), which was impressive. In this setting, where there are too many talented players to account for just one, they have not been blocked very often. Mack looks like a fireplug. Yes, he’s on the short side, but that works to his advantage and he’s elite laterally. Payne is taller, but like Mack is exceptionally strong and quick. Payne decides at the game Friday. It’s Alabama or Auburn (the word is Crimson Tide) and Mack has LSU and TCU, along with Texas, in the mix. Both are among what could be a record number of five-star defensive tackles in this cycle in my opinion.
