Yeah, this is his dad's quote.: "we wish it had turned out a little different" Said he enjoyed the game though. Also mentioned the possibility of visiting PSU and UF.
Also said that Alabama wants them Dec. 12-14 for OV.
He's a nasty run blocker. Hope we can get him. Biggest thing will be pulling him from LSU. He's a MS kid, so you never know.

And about recruiting taking a hit from the loss, I know at least one secondary player is eager to get here. I think this is free. Can't see any VIP marks.

McGraw used to the highest level

NASHVILLE – Rico McGraw is used to playing at the highest level. He’s been part of three straight state championships in both football and basketball at his Ensworth High School, he’s committed to one of the most prestigious programs in the nation right now in Alabama and on Monday he officially received his U.S. Army All-American Bowl jersey at a presentation at his high school.
Rico McGraw has his team poised for another state title run.
Among classmates and teachers, McGraw received the presentation to play in the most prestigious All-American game in the country and during his remarks to the crowd, the four-star defensive back got emotional when thanking his mother.
“It’s just stuff that goes on behind closed doors that my mom has done for me that if it weren’t for her, I wouldn’t be here,” McGraw said following the ceremony. “I wouldn’t even be in Nashville. She puts stuff aside for her own self to make sure me and my brother are happy. For this to be happening to us, I know it just puts a smile on her face.”
The Army All-American Bowl will take place in San Antonio, televised nationally on NBC on Saturday Jan. 3. It’s a game that has seen the likes of Andrew Luck, Adrian Peterson and Terrelle Pryor walk the sidelines and McGraw understands the magnitude of what playing in the game means to him and his family.
“All she wants to do is see me and my little brother succeed and this is one fo the first stages to it,” he said. “I want to do as well as I can at Alabama and hopefully make it to the next level to make her happy. If that can’t happen, I’ll find something else to do but as long as I make her happy everything is good.
“This is a middle school and elementary school kid’s dream and now that I’m in it, it’s just a blessing. I never thought I’d be able to be in this position. A lot of stuff changed, my body, new situation, new people. I’m just happy.”
McGraw is also happy with his future home of Alabama. Once a Georgia commit, McGraw decommitted late in the summer and flipped to the Crimson Tide. Immediately following that decision, there was some speculation that Georgia would be able to reel him back in by national signing day. But with each passing day, McGraw’s commitment to Alabama continues to grow stronger.
“I’m set in stone,” he said of his Alabama commitment. “I’m ready to get this underway. I’m ready to get in. They’ve got a lot of needs right now. I’m just trying to keep focused not let this stuff distract me anymore. I’m trying to get my body right, trying to get in and get started as soon as I can.”
One recent trip to Alabama helped sure up his commitment. He visited Tuscaloosa for Alabama’s win over Florida and he was impressed with what he saw.
“It’s just a winning atmosphere,” he said. “Everybody wants to beat Alabama so the intensity is there every week. I’m really looking forward to being a part of it. It’s similar to being at Ensworth. The target is always on your back. I’m ready to get down there and get going.”
Despite his commitment, his recruitment continues from other programs, most notably from Jeremy Pruitt at Georgia.
“Me and Coach Pruitt talk,” McGraw said. “Our relationship is beyond football. Just like his relationship with others like Marlon (Humphrey) and Jalen Ramsey that he recruited. It’s way more than football. We talk almost every week. He just checks in to make sure I’m doing alright.
But McGraw also knows that Pruitt is going to continue to recruit him beyond just continuing their personal relationship.
“That’s part of his job,” he said. “Our relationship is way beyond football. He understands my situation and you can’t go wrong with either school and he respects that. He understands everything. I’m 100 percent to Alabama and just ready to get this thing going.”
McGraw is the second Ensworth player to earn an Army All-American invite. The first went out to former Tennessee and current Minnesota Viking offensive tackle Antonio Richardson. McGraw is ranked by the 247Sports Composite as the No. 18 cornerback prospect in the nation according to the 247Sports Composite rankings and he’s the No. 146 ranked player overall. He could project to play cornerback, safety or the star position at Alabama.

Florida State brought out Myron Rolle for Minkah's OV this past weekend.

We would have brought in former high profile corners for his visit, but they were all busy. Ya know. Playing in the NFL.

5-star 2016 defensive tackle Rashan Gary, Paramus Catholic High School (Paramus, New Jersey)
We were in attendance to watch Gary and company continue an in-state rivalry with Bergen Catholic. Instead of a dogfight, we witnessed total domination by the junior defender and Paramus Catholic.
Gary, rated fifth overall nationally in the 2016 class, collected six sacks, according to the team's statistician. He led the charge for a squad that finished the game with a school-record 12 total sacks.
The 6'4" lineman, who shared he's now up to 295 pounds and certainly looks the part, was unstoppable, whether he penetrated the offensive backfield through the edge or interior.
Gary effectively neutralized the efforts of Bergen Catholic quarterback Jarrett Guarantano, a 4-star 2016 prospect whose top four collegiate options are Alabama, Oklahoma, Clemson and Ohio State.
Guarantano was pummeled throughout the matchup and routinely rushed by Gary. He completed just 11 of 28 pass attempts for 115 yards and two interceptions. Here is Guarantano getting chased:
“

Gary said he feels at home following his offseason transfer from Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School. Paramus Catholic featured 5-star athlete and current Michigan freshman Jabrill Peppers last season and hasn't suffered much of a fall-off thanks in large part to its prized newcomer.
"I'm very comfortable here, and it feels great to battle with my brothers for wins like this," he told me. "This is probably the best game I've had."
Gary added a third-quarter punt block before scooping the ball up and taking it to the end zone. His all-around performance confirms he belongs in the discussion as the nation's No. 1 defensive prospect, regardless of age.
He headed up to Rutgers after the game to watch the Scarlet Knights defeat Michigan. Gary mentioned Florida State, Miami and Alabama among several schools he'd like to visit at some point during the recruitment process.

5-star cornerback Kendall Sheffield, Fort Bend Marshall High School (Missouri City, Texas)
The 6'0", 181-pound playmaker impressed on both sides of the ball in a victory over Texas City High School. Sheffield helped his team snap a two-game losing streak by starring at receiver and in the secondary, where he is expected to spend his collegiate career.
He started off the scoring with a 27-yard touchdown reception, flashing quickness that also shines on the track. Sheffield is a state champion hurdler who clocked some of the country's quickest times as a junior.
Sheffield finished the contest with three catches for 58 yards.
A pick-six helped put the game away, as Sheffield returned an interception 48 yards for a score in the 27-14 victory, per Wes Swift of The Galveston County Daily News. He secured six interceptions during the past two seasons and continues to be a ball hawk this fall.
Sheffield followed up the performance with an official visit to USC. His recent campus trips include Ohio State, Texas A&M and Alabama, while a journey to Florida State is expected later this month.

Do any of y'all know anything about Amonte Caban? Looks like UGA may offer him soon
Posted on 10/7/14 at 12:37 pm to Crowknowsbest
He is a fricking headhunter. Only question on him is his speed. I've read somewhere that he's a little slow on the 40. Do yourself a favor and watch his film.
With the lack of depth at mlb I'm a little surprised that he hasn't got a bama offer.

Yeah he looks like a freaking missile, which is why it surprised me that Bama and Auburn weren't after him.
He looks decently fast on film but I'm hardly a qualified judge of that.

Heard his 40 was a little slow, but he looks good in his highlights. Honestly think that's the kind of badass mf's we need in the middle. Wish we'd offer

Looks like Kyle Philips is down to UT and OM. Charles said something about him not being a major priority in the after UF nuggets. I didn't want to believe it, but it's true. I need to change my recruiting top five, as it doesn't look like he will be in this class.
