The blue-chip safety plays both ways for the Mustangs, also starring at wide receiver and had a big day, with a 56 yard touchdown reception, in addition to several stops, flashing impressive closing speed and physicality.
Thompson and West Orange-Stark have big expectations heading into the season with a team that could make a deep playoff run and potential state championship berth. The Alabama commit has 11 interceptions over the past two seasons.
Thompson was Alabama's first commitment of the 2015 class, committing to the Tide in February of 2013. He ranks as the no. 42 overall prospect and no. 2 safety in the 2015 cycle according to 247Sports.

Really excited about the linbackers coming out next yr from state. Wilson, Davis and moon. Never heard of pj belue hes a 93 on 247 . Anybody know anything. Seems like good size. I think hes from Penison.. congrats on d. Thompson! 5star more athletic ha ha .

I think prince has the better upside with his height and wing span. But rivals is wrong on a lot of predictions.
