More seriously, though, I'm wondering what Steele and Williams are selling these kids about Lane's offense. No question, as much as I despise him, he has the credentials to back up his position as a top-flight OC, but I'm honestly unaware of any predilection he has for using tight ends. Anything leaking out of the spring practices that make you think Lane will rely more heavily on TEs than Nuss or McElwain?
(ETA: In case you're wondering, I don't think we get him. Mason hasn't seemed to pick up where Franklin left off, at least not that I've heard.)

I wanna see reed move to NT and just put ivory in on goal line it 3rd and shorts when we go to a 4 man line and keep Robinson and Allen starting at the 2 ends with pettway and hand coming in for pass rushing downs. Tomlinson and liner for run stop

I'm right there with you on Reed. We need him to become that Marcell Dareus type player. A'shawn was great for a freshman last year. If he can over power & get off his blocks a little quicker they would be an absolute terror up the middle. I'm hoping by mid season they'll be able to throw Frazier in the mix. Looking forward to seeing how it all plays out for sure.
