WR Kirk Merritt
Destrehan, La.

Merritt is a special athlete known for his speed, quickness, and explosiveness. There has been a lot of talk of him being more of a running back than a receiver, and we want to see if he is truly a receiver and how his athletic talents transition to the field against top-flight competition. Merritt does not have plans for an early decision but keep an eye on programs like Texas A&M, LSU, and Alabama. - Jason Howell, Rivals.com Mid-South Recruiting Analyst

WR Calvin Ridley
Coconut Creek (Fla.) Monarch

Ridley is another player who can sometimes struggle with motivation. He has so much talent that he's used to coasting by defenders in camp settings. But when he arrives in Baltimore, he'll be facing the best of the best. How will the Alabama commit fair when he matches up against bigger, faster and more physical defenders? - Woody Wommack, Rivals.com Southeast Recruiting Analyst

WR Demetris Robertson (2016)
Savannah (Ga.) Country Day School

Despite putting on a show at several camp events during the spring, there are some who question whether or not Robertson is a true wide receiver at the next level. He plays at a very small school and while he's had camp success in the past, it's never been against the type of competition he'll face in Baltimore. Robertson has added several offers in the spring, with Alabama, UCLA and Georgia among his favorites. - Woody Wommack, Rivals.com Southeast Recruiting Analyst

TE Hale Hentges
Jefferson City (Mo.) Helias

Hentges is the son of a coach and has an impressive build for a versatile tight end. He's never participated in anything resembling a high-level national camp. Hentges sees himself as a pass-catching tight end at a high-level FBS school and will look to prove tha during one-on-one drills. Hentges has taken dozens of unofficial visits this offseason and plans to make a verbal commitment sometime this summer. - Rob Cassidy Rivals.com Midlands/Southwest recruiting analyst

The new updated Top247 rankings. Tim Settle lost his fifth star. They still have Ricky Town #1

Newsome had 7 punt return TD's this past season. Wonder if the staff wants him primarily as a returner?

He's got a electric hl reel

this might be a crazy depth kind of class, which im good with. you needs those as well as the kind with the top guys (last year), to sustain. im okay with not getting a top 10 guy if we continue to get a bunch of other guys all in the top 100

4 out of the top 50 aint to bad...most teams would love to have 1 in the top 100.

Better question is who is most likely to see a Bama bump into the top ten?

Looks like our next commit could be Keaton Anderson. We just got 2 CB's from BOL. He is looking to make a decision very soon.

Taking a look at his film, he's actually a pretty good player. He's very good in space.

I knew Keaton Anderson's family had a ton of money, but I didn't know it was because they own Books-A-Million.
