Someone in the thread asked earlier if I had found the Al-MS All Star game from 2013. I havent, but here is a LINK of Rashaan Evans' highlights in the game. If anyone finds the full game let me know.

Evans is a beast, again if I ever had a coach tell a 5 star athlete he didn't fit the system I would want that coach fired.

who told evans he did not fit their system

Auburn fans are saying that he wouldn't fit the 4-2-5 at all. I'm just saying it would be a dumb thing for a coach to say. I've never thought Ellis Johnson was that smart (Coaches reflect their assistants and Dubose begat idiots like Johnson and Dabo) I think its a dumb system if you can't adapt to a guy like Evans.

I can see why we parted ways with Bessent not because he is now "even" with Brown on arrests but the guy weights 165 at age 19.

Don't tell that to the Aubs. They stole him away from us. Good thing they did. We might not have had room for Evans.

For those who are struggling at getting into the 2015 recruiting season, I like this breakdown of our targets:
LINK
quote:
With another No. 1 recruiting class in the books, Nick Saban and his coaching staff can now turn their full attention to the 2015 class. Alabama already holds seven early commitments from some of the nation's top prospects and will look to build off that early success in hopes of bringing home yet another top-ranked class a year from now. Take a look at some of the names Alabama is targeting early on at each position for the Class of 2015.
Tight end
Alabama will look to add to its growing collection of elite tight ends in 2015 and has already made contact with some of the nation's best at the position. Miami star Devonaire Clarington was one of the first players visited by Tide assistant Mario Cristobal when the dead period ended in January, while four-star Will Gragg, one of the top prospects from the state of Arkansas, recently named Alabama among his early favorites. Both Clarington and Gragg are ranked among the top four tight ends in the nation by 247Sports.
Offensive line
Alabama has already landed two early commitments on the offensive line for the class of 2015 with Georgia star and Tide legacy Dallas Warmack and Tuscaloosa standout Lester Cotton both giving their early pledges to Saban and the Tide. Alabama has made strong early impressions on some of the top linemen in the country, including Gadsden star Tyler Carr, Mississippi tackle Javon Patterson, Florida five-star Martez Ivey and Washington D.C. guard Richie Petitbon.
Wide receiver
Alabama picked up an early commitment from Louisiana receiver Daylon Charlot at its first Junior Day event of the 2015 cycle last weekend and will look to add at least one more star receiver to the class moving forward. One name to watch for: Texas star Demarkus Lodge recently received a visit at his school from the Tide coaching staff along with an offer. Lodge lists Alabama on an early list of favorites along with LSU, Texas A&M and Baylor.
Running back
The Tide will look to continue its tradition of bringing in elite running back talent in 2015 and have a head start on that goal with an early commitment from Vigor four-star back DeSherrius Flowers. Other backs receiving interest from the Tide early on include Madison Academy's Kerryon Johnson, Louisiana star Derrius Guice and junior college standout Jovon Robinson, a former Auburn signee who made waves at Georgia Military College last fall and has publicly stated his desire to play for Alabama.
Quarterback
After losing a commitment from five-star quarterback Ricky Town last month, Alabama heads back to the drawing board at quarterback and will likely spend the spring evaluating targets. One player the Tide have shown strong interest in already is Texas dual-threat star Jarrett Stidham, a 6-foot-3, 190-pound star who passed for over 2,600 yards while rushing for over 800 last season. Stidham lists Alabama in his early top ten.
Defensive end
Alabama holds an early commitment from one of the nation's top defensive ends in Georgia star Mekhi Brown and is in contention for several other elite stars as well. Alabama was among the first schools to offer Florida star CeCe Jefferson last year and the early groundwork has earned Alabama a spot among the five-star pass rusher's list of favorites. Rising star Kengera Daniel from North Carolina was among the prospects who picked up an offer from Alabama at the Tide's junior day last weekend.
Defensive tackle
Tucker, Georgia four-star tackle Jonathan Ledbetter committed to Alabama during the Tide's junior day event last weekend and Alabama hopes to add more names to the list, primarily Shades Valley High School star Daron Payne. The 6-foot-2, 315-pound star is rated the nation's top defensive tackle by 247Sports and the state's No. 1 overall prospect in the 2015 AL.com A-List and has Alabama as his early favorite. The Tide is also pursuing Virginia five-star Tim Settle, the top prospect in his talent-loaded state in 2015.
Linebacker
Alabama offered scholarships to two in-state stars at linebacker last weekend in Hoover duo Christian Bell and Darrell Williams. Meanwhile, many of the nation's top prospects in the linebacker corps are also taking a hard look at the Tide, including Mississippi star Leo Lewis and Jacksonville standout Jeffery Holland.
Defensive backs
Alabama added the nation's top two cornerbacks in the 2014 class and will look to back them up with more depth in 2015. Five-stars Minkah Fitzpatrick from New Jersey and Kendall Sheffield from Texas both hold early offers from Alabama and have shown lots of early interest in the Tide. At safety, Alabama holds an early commitment from Texas star Deionte Thompson, one of the nation's best at his position, and continues to pursue other elite safeties including Mississippi four-star Jamal Peters.

I'm telling you guys, Clairington will be a beast. Really wanna land him.

Stidham seems to be the guy mentioned most with us since Town decommitted.
You would think Town's decommitment would have lead to the other top 2015 guys starting to talk about us. It's not that we lost Town, after all he probably never commits to us in the first place if USC is stable the whole time. But it is the simple fact that if you look at the 247 composite Pro Style QBs none of the guys in the Top 10 (again other than Town) even have us on the radar.
Its just weird how we've dominated recruiting for so long we've signed top 30 recruits at every position (that gets ranked in the top 30 regularly I mean no one has signed a top 30 Fullback, Kicker, Punter, Deep Snapper, or Center lately) except QB. What is it going to take to get over that hump?
What is making the Pro Style QB that is a top 30 even a top 50 overall recruit want to play everywhere else but Alabama? Hell of the top 25 Pro QB's in the 247 Composite only one lists us in their top group of schools and that is Town.
Its not that we've lost guys its that we've lost every single one of them and to programs and in situations where we were the better choice.
If AJ not being 2nd in the Heisman voting(granted it wasn't competitive but he was still 2nd) then what will it take?
After all these guys have all signed somewhere, what is making "everywhere but Alabama" such an attractive choice?

Good work people. We're on pace for over 1,600 pages
*Assuming 365 days 'til signing day divided by 5 since we're about 5 days into this thread times 22 pages so far.*
And that's without real news

It is hard for us to overcome the game manager label at QB. Recruits few us as a smash mouth run it down your throat football team. Which is why we have no trouble landing running backs.

Yeah but our game manager wins the Maxwell Award, Johnny Unitas Award, and runner up in the Heisman Award.
