Do you think the Hoover three have committable offers? I think Bradrick would be an excellent back in out system and it would be awesome to bring in a trio of in state guys from a big time school.

Something smells funny regarding his whole situation. He was going to be a starter for Florida next season. Why would he leave unless he was forced to?
The article I read said he wanted to play a different CB spot than what he plays at UF? Not sure I buy it but that's what he said.

What the frick? That doesn't make any sense. He chose to leave Florida because he couldn't play on the left side of the field (or wherever he wanted)? What a moron.

Some friends of mine, from a site that shall not be named, think Shaw may end up at another position in college. I don't think we would take him as a RB.

Blurb on Pettway from Hawgs247:
quote:
2. LaMichael Pettway, 6-3, 200, WR, Nashville
Pettway has spent time at quarterback and receiver for Nashville, but his future appears to be that of a pass-catcher – and a very good one, at that. Nebraska has already offered. Pettway, who’s lived in Arkansas since elementary school, thinks the Razorbacks could be the next to pull the trigger. Colorado State, Florida State, Ole Miss and Texas Tech are among the teams that have shown interest in the No. 6 player in the state. He’s been to two Razorback games so far this season and plans on attending at least one more.

While Muschamp would not detail the specific reasons behind the transfer, the Gainesville Sun wrote earlier in the day that “Riggs wants to go transfer to a school where he’ll have a chance to play the wide cornerback position.” A source told the Sun that was not an option available to Riggs if he stayed in Gainesville.
Same article says he only has 1 year left so he won't be transferring to an SEC school

I want to thank T Rich for pointing this out.
Leo Lewis has 7 CB predictions with 6 of them have him coming to Alabama. One of the experts making this prediction is BOL's Charles Power.

This is the time of year when I try to pay attention to recruiting and realize there are way too many names out there to keep up with

Scarborough
My unprofessional opinion about Scarbo coming out of HS is the same opinion I had about Ingram when he came out of HS.
Scarbo, if healthy and remains healthy, will be a Heisman contender once he completes a full season of PT at the RB position. (or even as a WR).
I have not watched many LF highlites however I haven't seen much of Scarbos highlites either. But Scarbo seemed more fluid to me (which isn't saying much)running the ball than LF.

In the early years of the Saban era I would of thought Bradrick was too tall and upright, but if he focuses on strengthening his legs to lower his center of gravity I could see him playing RB for us.

That's another reason Bo didn't get more pub. He was hurt most of his junior year and some of his soph year IIRC.

Leo Lewis and the Hoover Four are at Miss St. junior day today.

Bo reminds me of Todd Gurley. I think Gurley has a step or two on him though.

Tyler Carr is out there too, but he appears Auburn bound.
His position coach is a good friend of mine from back in the day AND he was a 4 year starter at the University of Alabama. (LR)
I'm thinking Auburn isn't a done deal.

Bo's Sr. highlights are awesome, and I read somewhere that IMG's schedule last season was filled with perennial Florida powerhouses, and he makes those guys look like complete scrubs. I think he will be a star.

There's a rumor floating around the main 247 board about Kalvarez Bessent was arrested last night.
Supposedly there were drugs and a gun in the car with him.
