I was never impressed with Depriest or any of the other guys we had tbh, so I was as well.
It has felt like since 09 we always had some young guy that was impressive that we could look forward to like Hightower and CJ.

Every year since 08 we've started an eventual 1st rounder at ILB.
Ro (08 and 09), Dont'a (08/09*/10/11), Mosley (10/11/12/13)
Trey and Ragland aren't future first rounders. They're top of the line going forward, but they can't cover.

You're right. They are run stoppers but coverage kills them.

It isn't just that they are run stoppers either. They are some of the best run stoppers. 10 years ago they're probably both All Americans.
