I have lived in Center Point all of my life and I wouldn't recommend anyone spending much time here. It has really taken a dive over the past 20 years. There are some apartments off of hwy 11 that are pretty good though. They are a few blocks behind Velma's bar. Sorry that I don't know the name though.

There was also this dope spot in Trussville called Springs at Trussville but they're sold out of Studios and that's all I really need for now

I know you said schools won't matter for a year or two, but FYI, the Springs at Trussville isn't actually zoned for Trussville schools.

There are some fairly nice condos in downtown Trussville. Mixture of old people and young couples with kids. Here is a link to one for sale: LINK

There are a couple up for rent. I think the rent is around $700 or so.

I forgot all about those. Glad you posted them.

Warning though **** T'ville is a ticket town. Do the speed limit and don't run red lights or stop signs.

I live in gardendale right outside of Birmingham (5/10 mins).
There is a real nice set of apartments here in gardendale called woodbrook and I believe they are rated nationally. If you would like some more info message me and I will shoot you my number and give you some details.
