Every pro-Bama social media comment section is filled with redneck UGA boomers who can barely spell "UGA". They have a weird inferiority complex when it comes to Alabama football which is a little bizarre considering most of us don't give a frick and a half about Georgia.
I find it laughably ironic they have a deep hatred for all things Alabama and Saban yet have literally modeled their entire program after ours.
If Deboer fricks around and curb stomps that fat arse, bowl cut having coach of theirs this season, I wouldn't be surprised if there's mass suicide attempts all over that shithole of a state they laughably think is something more than Mississippi with a crack head infested major city.

Many UGA fans are under the false assumption "Kirby was responsible for Saban's success" or "Saban couldn't win without Kirby".
Nevermind the fact that Alabama actually won more games in the 8 years following Kirby's departure than in the 8 seasons he coached for us as DC. Nevermind the fact that both Pruitt and Lupoi's defenses surrendered less points in the regular season than Kirby's last few defenses did.
It's true we did win more national titles when Kirby was here, but we also didn't have a playoff for most of Kirby's run which gave us a month to prepare for one opponent.
And there's the fact that Kirby has no legitimate wins over Saban outside of the bogus rematch that didn't feature Metchie and Williams who previously balled out on UGA a month before.
But whatever helps them cope with the fact that they're the best team in Bama's shadow...

Kirby wasn't responsible for Saban's success. Obviously that's ridiculous. Most of us saw significant and immediate improvement under Pruitt. But it's also true that incompetent defense coordinating did cause a dropoff towards the end of Saban's tenure.
Even with BoB, the 2022 team would have been 15-0 with even a marginally competent defense. 2019 would have beaten LSU if Golding's defense could have forced more than one punt and a Pruitt coached defense probably holds that Auburn team to 14 points, so I think that could have been another championship run, probably even with the Tua injury. I think Saban probably finishes with 8 or 9 national titles at Alabama if not for Pete Golding. They managed to win one with him of course, but it took literally the greatest offense in college football history to get there.

You'd hate Bama too if they beat your team on the biggest stages multiple times.

Thay bowl cut really is hilariously ugly.
