Have a really hard time seeing this team make the postseason. No pitchers other than Fouts, and we just struggle hitting the ball. Watched Kilfoyle earlier today dominate, we sure could use her this year.

who would have thunk it. Fouts gives up 5 runs in a loss yesterday and Alex gives up 2 runs today in a yuge win. Did we find our true number 2 pitcher. She mixes it up a lot. Wow

Fouts pulled after giving up 5 in 3rd inning . Down 5-2

The ladies battled back but came up short. Fielding errors contribute to UT runs. Off to Missouri for the next series.

Things looking grim. Hopefully the current regime retires before they run this program into the ground.

I agree, it's not a coincidence Shipman was a stud at Tennessee, and comes over here and starts off hot last year and gradually her average goes down. This year so far she's not even close to being the same player at the plate. The team in general struggles badly at the plate most games

The program isn't near the level it was 10 years ago and is no longer an elite SEC team.
Since the 2012 WCWS Title, Alabama has 5 WCWS appearances, 1 WCWS Final appearance, 2 SEC Regular Season Titles, 1 SEC Tournament Title.
Murphy needs to retire or be fired after this year. It will take a new coach 2-3 seasons to get Alabama back to being elite. Murphy can not get Alabama back to being elite and that's why he needs to go.

You'll have to pry the keys to the program from Murphy's cold, dead hands before he will voluntarily resign. Byrne will have to swing the hatchet if he wants to bring in new blood.
