Sides and Wallace started almost every game during their time at Alabama. Maybe they had clashes but favoritism over playing time couldn’t have been one.

Think Wallace wanted to play SS and she was at 2B her year at Bama while the senior ( Claire Jenkins ?) was starting at SS. Not 100% but thought that was a main point in her decision

Sides and Wallace were great players and even Murph's stubborn attitude couldn't keep them off the field. However, like others have mentioned it is Murph's way or the highway regarding hitting, recruiting, off season participation, etc. Many of these ideas are out dated and it has shown on the field and in the locker room the last 3-5 years. Primarily with hitting and transfers.
His favorites love him and come to his aid at any sign of criticism while others distance themselves from the program.

This should not be an issue since it appears we have no success in weight loss for those that need it, increased muscle mass, increased speed, etc.
I can't tell a difference in any of them from when they arrived through when they leave.

Claire is one of Murph's girls for sure. Very average across the board but total TEAM player. Murph is/was loyal to that regardless if it hurts the team.
Wallace (and her folks) specifically took offense to that and hit the portal, but it wasnt the only issue. Murph's consistent requirement regarding off season work and specifics on hitting, etc. played a part.

Agreed 100%. Half our girls look 5'3 and 105lbs with no muscle. Most look like fresh/soph in high school rather than being in a D1 program.

Pupillo hit .324 with 19Hrs for Northern Iowa this year …. Hope she brings at least double digits next year
