Damn that sucks. I hope it works out and it is only for the year. Good luck to him and his family.

He has put on a noticeable amount of size. That’s encouraging

Last week his father said he'd gained 20 lbs of good weight:

Note: The 20 lbs Bryce added in the winter S&C program is almost as much as the 25 Mac has gained on a bigger frame in the entire time he's been at UA.

He was throwing a bunch of passes high, early in the video. I hope he’s just a little bit rusty.

They weren't too high and he didn't look rusty at all, imo. To me, they looked like they were thrown pretty much right where they should be. His accuracy looked fantastic, even when throwing while he was moving around in the pocket and rolling out. I love Mac, but I expect Bryce to beat him out for the QB1 job.

We have different views of “right where they should be”. They are high in my opinion, and he’d get a receiver killed.

I disagree. The receiver was catching them easily in stride, and they wouldn't be pick sixes either.

The receiver was having to reach over his head to catch many of the slant type passes or in routes. They were in stride but high. No one wants to catch a high pass over the middle. Just my opinion.

Defenders are much more likey to get a hand or two on lower passes thrown on slants and crossing routes. He was leading the receiver just right, at shoulder height on those routes, so only the receiver could reach it and catch it cleanly while running fast -- for yards after catch.

Receivers don’t like high balls over the middle. Watch Tua’s placement. He kept everything between the shoulders and knees. Not everything, but pretty damn close to everything

Yup, but he didn’t get receivers killed while he was here

True, but he almost got himself killed at times. I dont think Bryce will get any of our WRs killed either. His skills are often compared to Tua's. But Bryce appears to be better at avoiding getting himself clobbered. I sure hope he is.

His body is totally transformed. Dude looks like Jalen Hurts out there.

He seems to put too much air under many of his throws. Not sure if that’s an arm strength issue or just mechanics that Sark can work out of him. No need to rainbow throws, in the SEC better put most of those throws on a rope.
