Would've been nice to play all season with Ras being our 3rd/4th best SP instead of having to be the ace. Oh well.

How in the hell do you stick with him after 2 walks and every ball off their bat being a missile? We had a shot to somehow still be in the game with 1 more out and he gambles with Ras hanging every OTHER pitch?

Perfectly reasonable chance to take on a Saturday in the middle of April. Not so much in postseason play. I'll never understand baseball coaches who hang their starters out to dry in playoff games. Like, what good does a well rested bullpen do for you if you're eliminated? fricking nothing.

Especially when that starter is notoriously hot or cold, and when he is cold he is throwing taterballs every other pitch like Ras has done all year in his cold starts.......which I think everyone would agree today was CLEARLY one of.
So you are trusting THAT GUY to get 2 more outs with guys on 1st and 2nd?
There is just no rationale there that is reasonable. It's pure hope and dream stuff.

Freeman has come in and done a nice job. Would be a lot cooler if he was doing it in a 4-1 game.
