Indeed. There will be spots to be had for the group coming in next year.

And Giles goes BB, 1B, 1B and Bama trails again 6-5

Frickin pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.

I mean, Giles has a decent breaking ball, but when you throw it 4 out of 5 pitches it starts to lose its effectiveness.

you know Bo is trying to avoid the L to a team who has only won 4 all year as he is bringing in the viper

Having to use Chase Lee in a midweek game we are losing to a 4-29 team is not good.

We're having to bring in Lee to pitch on a Tuesday night against a 4-29 team to try and keep the deficit manageable.

I know midweek games don't really matter all that much but guys should feel pretty frickin ashamed of this effort.

they mean a lot for SOS and an at large bid. Lost to LaMO and SMU in mid week games already this year

They really don't. There are decades of history and stats that prove it.

Southern Miss is a very good team with great metrics, losing to them isn't embarrassing at all. They are #26 in ELO and #16 in RPI.

they have looked like world beaters against our SEC caliber hitters. A lot of K's from our guys too.

big DP there

UNA has played 2 Power 5 teams so far this season - Ole Miss and State

They lost by a combined score of 38-7 (18-1 and 20-6).

Their team ERA is 7.75. Their team WHIP is 1.91, meaning they AVERAGE giving up 2 runners on base every single inning.

Tate walks, moves to 2nd on a balk, then to 3rd on a wild pitch. Williamson walks.

Bottom 8, runners on 1st & 3rd, 0 outs

Wild pitch and he’s to third. No outs. How do I know we’ll somehow manage to not score lmao

Our freshman pitchers have been absolutely horrendous this season. Unplayable. Giles - 11.00 ERA, 2.44 WHIP (9 IP) Eddington - 7.45 ERA, 1.86 WHIP (9.2 IP) Hitt - 9.00 ERA, 1.67 WHIP (18.0 IP)

Seems like Bo whiffed on a bunch of freshmen and not just the pitchers.

And I thought our outfielders had weak arms.

Dude threw like a girl

Are cannons in right field a lost art?

I dunno WTF that guy was doing. He was clearly not gonna get the runner from 3rd but could have definitely made a play on the guy at 2nd or held the guy at 1st.

That was a like a 12 year old play.

Hard chopper that the 2B lets play him and Alabama takes a 8-6 lead

The dude had one play - charge the hell out of that ball and grab it on the short hop. Once he took that first step backwards he was toast.

8-6 Bama headed to the 9th

That ball must of had some serious top spin on it

I’m glad we’re not walking it off and celebrating this game. That would have been embarrassing.
