Tua hasn't been a world beater in practice and has turnover issues. That is literally the only way to get off Saban's radar to start. He cleans that up and he likely gets the job. However, I could careless about the spring at this point we may be in the playoff.

Supposedly there are rumors swirling that Tua will transfer to UCLA after the spring if he doesn't win the job. The relationship with Mariotta is a factor in this.

Until you posted this here, I had only heard that from Auburn fans.

What does that even mean? I know he’s friends with Mariotta but what does Mariotta have to do with UCLA? He went to Oregon and lives in Tennessee.

Boz, I like you bruh, but I could give a shite about the playoffs this year. If we get in, we're one and done. Plain and simple. We won't beat any of the teams ahead of us except for maybe Wisconsin and Miami. If we see Clemson, OU, or Auburn, I don't like our chances. Georgia is 50/50.

I also don't give a shite how Jalen looks in practice compared to Tua. We've seen Jalen under live fire and he can't get the job done. Granted, we've yet to see Tua under live fire, but I think it's past time. We've seen Jalen's best. It's good, but it ain't good enough. I'd love to see a 2 QB system where Tua gets most of the snaps but Jalen has a package for him, like inside the 10.

I just don't see any way you can see those 2 guys run the same offense side by side and declare Jalen Hurts the winner. It's not possible.

That’s definitely an unpopular opinion on every Bama message board but I do agree.

Well, believe me I don't like saying it, but I'm not a sunshine pumper. I call a spade a spade and that team ain't winning a natty. If they do, it will be a coaching miracle.

If Smelly can be an H Back at the next level, Jalen sure can.

Smelly was not an anything at the next level. He played in 4 NFL games and caught 1 pass for 3 yards.

Mariotta could talk a lot about his relationship with Kelly and what Kelly likes to do offensively with his QBs.
