Pupillo & Vandagriff will be our top hitters I do believe until Murphy gets a hold of them.

Uh Catelyn Riley's swing is top tier.

And yes she's a pitcher!

The ladies play again today at 10:30 am (CT) against Washington (flocollege.com). Washington beat Arizona yesterday in their second game. Bama takes on Arizona today in game two tonight at 6 pm (CT) on ESPN+.

quote:

Alabama softball opened the 2025 season with a pair of wins Friday at the Candrea Classic, starting with a 5-1 win over No. 22 Washington before defeating Michigan State 6-2.

Alabama (2-0) trailed early in game one after Washington (0-1) sent the first pitch of the game over the fence for a solo home run, but the Crimson Tide quickly rallied with a game-tying RBI double in the second and a three-run third to take the lead. An insurance run in the sixth brought the score to 5-1 and a 1-2-3 seventh from Jocelyn Briski (1-0) capped the season-opening win for the Tide.

In game two against Michigan State (0-3), Alabama took the first lead on a Marlie Giles solo home run in the first inning before the Spartans tied it up in the third with an RBI single. The Tide retook the lead with a two-run fourth before adding another pair of runs in the fifth and a another in the sixth to lead 6-1. Michigan State cut into the lead with a one-out solo home run in the seventh but reliever Emily Winstead quickly retired the next two batters to secure the win.

Pitcher Riley is hitting for herself, SS won’t.

We have a starter from last year who is now still Ofer for the first 3 games. Game 3 is not over yet. Maybe she will hit a 3 run homer to win it all.

Bama wins 7-3. Wow, what a comeback. Do we have some offense with some of the newbies this year? I hope so

Our pitcher gave up a 3 run bomb early and held them to only 4 hits. Yahoo
