Sweet Jesus that 2016 defense. The 2-deep probably had 15 NFL starters with several Pro Bowlers

Darnold out with a shoulder injury after sack. Doesn't look good. Joe Flacco in.

Quinnen Williams with a weak roughing the passer penalty then....

Jerry Jeudy catches a 48 yard TD on a jump ball that should have been picked.

Jerry Jeudy Mossing cornerback for first NFL TD.

Darnold back throwing on sideline but has not made it back in game.

Too many flags Jets have had 9 penalties.

ETA: Darnold is back.

The amount of penalties and injuries in this game is ridiculous. The play is bad enough all on its' own.

Darnold just falls over on 3rd and 4 Jets have to settle for a field goal.

Quinnen Williams with a good series. Chases down on back on second and 10 and brings some pressure that contributes to a pick 6. 27-25 Broncos.

How this guy got drafted as high as he did is beyond my comprehension. He's terrible.

Came out of college with all the physical measurable, can make all the throws but he misreads coverages and can't protect the football because of it. You can overcome those TOs and mistakes in college but the NFL will expose you. Reminds me of Jameis Winston. Daniel Jones is headed down that path.

After another pick by Rypien Jets kick a field goal to go up 28-27.

Quinnen just can't win. Gets the big sack on 3rd down and gets a facemask penalty on the play.

Watch: Jerry Jeudy scores first career TD in absurd fashion (BOL)

Inaccurate pass, but an awesome catch and nice dance moves.

Great point. I think if either of these teams were half decent, the game would have sucked. However, it was very entertaining (aside from ALL the penalties) because of the even match. LOL

I would be surprised if either the jets or broncos can win 3 games this season.....

Not sure about that....His play was great sometimes and sort of crappy sometimes.

What in the hell was he doing on the Darnold TD run??? It looked like he did not want to attempt to tackle him. Maybe he thought you can't touch the QB or you get a penalty? I am not kidding...with the refs constantly assessing penalties for roughing the QB, it probably has alot of these defenders thinking instead of reacting....

EJ has been a starter in the NFL for a long time. There's a reason for that. He's really good. RTR

I referenced Eddie Jackson who plays for the Bears because he was in a commercial about serving the community. He wasn't in this game but since I was basically talking to myself last night I was just posting everything .

You are referencing Kareem Jackson which you are a hundred percent right about. It is impressive that he has stayed in the league this long and contributes but his play last night at best could be described as up and down. What he did on the Darnold TD run was criminal .
