Where rookie QBs end up matters much more than how good they are as players. Sunshine for example (you know, the generational talent, can't miss prospect?) has been a disaster as a rookie, and is getting worse as the season progresses, in large part because of how awful the Jags organization is and how far out of his depth Urban is. I think Tua is suffering from a lot of the same issues. shite organization, shite head coach, widespread incompetence. Meanwhile Belichick is teaching a masterclass in how to bring along a rookie QB.

Right now Maimi’s OL is killing Tua. That and horrible ticky tack penalties killing big plays.

Going to be hard for Tua to have success and really see what kind of a NFL qb he can be at Mia.

Saints have a better OL (they are beat up today) but far worse receivers.

Jalen with a huge opportunity this weekend to gain some more ground on Cams rushing TD record. Playing the Giants

Jalen needs to finish out the season strong in general to make the Eagles brass see him as more Lamar Jackson than placeholder. He shows flashes of being a major playmaker, and they have a good young group of weapons for him with Smitty, Dallas Goedert, and Miles Sanders. I'm not sure he's going to ever get there when it comes to field vision as a passer though. He's got to show them a little more when it comes to sitting in the pocket and making quick, decisive reads.

Miami isn't letting Tua go now. I hope he continues to improve but I don't want their record to be too good to the point they miss out on a quality O lineman.

I think Miami has already decided to get Happy Ending in the off-season...it doesn't matter what Tua does.

That organization sucks and I hope they trade him instead of keeping him on the roster as a backup.

He'd be such a good fit in New Orleans... assuming of course they didn't bench him for Hill every time he makes a mistake. It's like Tua is held to a higher standard than any other young QB for some reason...and he wasn't even an overall #1 pick.

Anybody else root for Jalen Hurts as much as any former player? I have taken to making sure I am able to watch Mac and the Pats and Jalen and the Eagles each week.

If Miami trades for Watson then Tua will be traded. Tua is showing too much promise now for him to be anyone's backup.

Rumor now is the Saints are trying to get Watson. Saw it on a sports article. Do the Saints even have the picks or cap to go after Watson?

No

All these rumors about Watson going any team right now is BS. His future in the league is uncertain

Sick of hearing about Watson.

It's like people forget he lead the Texans to a whopping 4 total wins last season BEFORE his legal problems.
