Yep. The freshman had an off night and the team still put up a season high. Gonna need that kind of clutch play in March and April.

197.45 to beat an outmatched Beavers team. Pretty good crowd at Coleman. Great floor routines from Gabby (thought it was a 10) and Jamison.

Ranked 3rd nationally, not bad

Yep. We're genuinely a consistent vault rotation away from being a truly championship viable candidate. (ie, we're probably still a year out from another trophy)
Last year beam was dismal, and vault and floor were ok, while bars was hot or cold... all of which are fatal in a sport ruled by averages.
4 meets into 2026 and Alabama is ranked Top 10 in all events, #2 in the nation in bars and floor in fact.
We'll learn a LOT about this team this week heading into the practically unwinnable quagmire that is An Oklahoma Home Meet. If Bama wants to stay in the Top 5 by the end of the year for that sweet Regional Seeding, low 197s aren't going to cut it much longer.

During the busiest home sports weekend of the year, Bama Gymnastics hosts its biggest meet of the year: The Power of Pink meet. Arkansas scored at 197.700 in their home meet last week so Bama needs to be sharp in every rotation. Get to Coleman and take part in this epic event.

For the first time ever, @BamaGymnastics has scored 197+ in each of it's first 6 meets of a season. In fact, all scores are >= 197.275.
They're avg. score is 197.5208, more than .250 higher than it's prev. best of 197.2542 set in 2004.

Doesn't really matter about winning, just average score.

Did we win the meet?
Yes - it was a busy sports weekend and I just updated the first post in the thread (with scores for each meet on the schedule). Here’s the RollTide.com write up:

The No. 3 Alabama gymnastics team (4-2, 2-2 SEC) steamrolled to a season-high 197.950-196.900 victory over No. 8 Arkansas (3-3, 2-2 SEC) in Friday night's Power of Pink meet at Coleman Coliseum. The team score is tied for the sixth best in program history and is the highest tally earned by the Crimson Tide since the 2024 season.
UA swept the individual honors, as four different gymnasts accumulated eight event titles, highlighted by three from senior all-arounder Gabby Gladieux (balance beam, floor exercise, all-around). Chloe LaCoursiere shared the uneven bars title with teammate Azaraya Ra-Akbar, who won vault, and also shared balance beam with Gladieux and Jasmine Cawley.
