Joining Flynn in the top-10 on the player leaderboard was Harriet Lockley, in sixth place, after carding a 3-under par 69. As a team, the Tide posted the lowest average score (4.00) on Par 4 holes and the second-most birdies (16) throughout the field.

As a team, the Tide is in fifth overall after 18 holes played with a team score of 3-over par 283.
Powell ended his day at 2-under par 68, highlighted by going 4-under across his final four holes with an eagle, two birdies and a par. Jonathan Griz is also among the top 15 individuals in a tie for 14th overall after carding an even par 70.

Alabama men's golfer William Jennings tied for first overall with a 1-under par 209 to lead the No. 11-ranked Crimson Tide at the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational presented by Charles Schwab. As a team, Alabama closed the two-day, 54-hole tournament in sixth place with a team total of 13-over par 853 (288-281-284).
Jennings, who won medalist honors at the season-opening Folds of Honor Collegiate, earned his second top finish in just his third tournament of the year. He is the first golfer in program history to achieve the feat.
