JHC just Narced on him under the pressure, he could've been selling instead of Ty no one knows

It was Ty's dorm

Doesn't matter. No point in keeping on discussing that incident

Didn't say he was. It's just a risk for a program like Alabama to bring him in

I'm guessing Saban will keep him on a short leash. It's pretty much a win for the kid, so long as he doesn't screw up. Even playing behind Howard (assuming he doesn't get moved to WR or something) he gets exposure and he quiets some of the NFL's doubts by getting Saban's de facto sanction (which I'm guessing actually means something, given that, a few pot problems aside, the only Saban player in recent years to have character issues was McClain, and he wasn't a Saban recruit.)

TFS is listed at 6'3" 245, people seem to be mentioning a move to WR, but is he fast enough? And if he isn't fast enough, if he a good enough route runner? I don't see that.

Considering that I knew nothing about him before, I have no idea. I was just going by the other person who brought it up. But Saban does like his big, physical WRs.

He is fast yes but likely an Hback type role alongside OJ

Here is another quote from HC at GMC about his flirtation with OM

quote:

“Ole Miss had offered him, and he was more or less going to go there,” Williams said. “He liked what they had going on. He was wanting to take a visit to Ole Miss and make sure everything was fine. Then they started hemming and hawing, and it wasn’t going to work. We made a few calls, and Alabama had a high interest level. They had to see how the (scholarship) numbers worked out first.”

I like the coach at GMC

I'll take the under. It appears we are done for this year, and commitments are what gets the pages rolling. Here's to an uneventful (in a good way, nobody flips) day.

Nuggets are up. Will summarize.

Ill take the over. Even an uneventful NSD would yield 30+ pages I would think plus there's always some kind of drama

-Kiffin wanted Ty.
-Evans race close. Slight AU lean.
-Williams still weighing options between us and UCF. Dad had a stroke. Might want to stay closer to home.
- Thomas is staying home. Relationship with mom main factor.
-Dupre: LSU/FSU battle. LSU leads
-Rudolph reached out to Bama when it was thought that FSU would land Lane and Dupre. FSU staff smoothed things over.
-BAW sticks with gamecocks. His mom did like that we didn't negative recruit like other schools.
-Shaw will not sign as football player with Bama, but may end up in off field role
-staff mostly wrapped up this class before New Years and has been getting a jump start on 2015.

That's too bad. I hope he sticks with Bama but I'll understand if he chooses to stay closer to his Dad

I'll be at a conference so I'm kinda glad for a uneventful NSD. No surprises is fine for me. We got a great class.

Makes me wonder if we would try flipping Boston on NSD if Williams decides to stay home. Probably just leave that spot open for next year.

Hopefully Williams will go ahead and let the staff know one way or the other so they actually have time to go after a replacement if that's what they choose to do

Isn't Williams from Georgia? What is the distance from his house to Bama/UCF?

He's from Camden co., on the border Ga and Fl right near Jacksonville. Orlando would be a good bit closer than Tuscaloosa

My dream of a 1000 pages looks like a long shot. We would have to pull a major surprise to get there. Not as much chatter as one would hope.
