I get the strong suspicion from all I've read that Alan really is a bit guarded regarding AU and doesn't seem to be quite sold on Malzahn and Ellis Johnson's plan for him at AU just the feeling I get

I think he knows that playing Jack will probably prepare him more for the NFL than the Star position and that NFL teams really covet that OLB pass rushing spot. Just look at all the guys drafted to play OLB in a 3-4 over the last 5-6 years as evidence.

No idea. I do know that a 60M dash time around 6 seconds is considered legit. I don't know how much time you add for jumping.

Signing day 5 days away. I am pretty sure we are mathematically locked up to finish #1 on every major site (Ohio st might have a small chance on scout). This class is flipping awesome. Players from across the nation. #1 players in several states. If we get Evans that will be a major pull away from our rivals. This is sweet.
