We aren't getting Thomas. Everyone from BOL and Bone all said yesterday that he's the largest longshot of all our remaining targets.

Bucc, no offense, but do you see why LSU and AU (and probably some Bama) fans take your posts with a grain of salt? You expect Bama to land or flip every prospect. I take nothing away from Bama. They are a beast of a program, but some kids just would rather play elsewhere. You either aren't serious a large majority of the time or you're allowing your fanhood to cloud logic.

Again, no offense.

From my understanding we are recruiting him as an athlete with the possibility of him playing RB or Safety.

However, he was contacted by Kiffin right after he was hire. I guess that means we are serious about using him on offense.

My hate was forged long ago on here. I'm still one of the posters who initiate that response from a handful of rival teams posters and I see its the same with you. This reaction creeps up at times whether what I say is controversial or not (and a lot of it has become a lot less controversial than it was in the past). I fully realize and understand not every kid isn't landing at Bama and Bama can only add 25 give or take, a lot of what I post now is pretty tongue in cheek yes and I'm not at all offended, learned long ago that is a response I don't have time to acknowledge.

Donovan Wilson, the FS from LA, will not take an OV this weekend. He cancelled it this morning.

I like Boston more anyway.

I don't think anyone actually "hates" you. You just come off as an extreme homer when it comes to recruiting sometimes.

Nothing wrong with being an optimist.

Which do you think would be the better route? His running skills seem too good to waste to me

I'll be honest with you. I haven't even watched film on him yet.

I just put him on my early wishlist because he is 5-star from the state of Alabama.

I'll watch his highlights once the 2014 class is finished (next week) and I'll formulate an opinion one way or the other.

I know before Kiffin came that the staff was leaning more towards Safety with him.

Junior Days are usually are biggest surge of commitments towards the next class. I expect a couple of commits at least.

Stuff that sounds "homer" is T&C though that's the rub. I'm damned if I do and damned if I don't

I guess I could just become super pessimistic with everything but where is the fun in that?

Exactly. I would much rather read posts from an optimist than a negative nancy who's constantly questioning the staff. Nobody knows 100% where any of these kids are going, expect the kids themselves, and most of them don't really know until they finally sign the papers.

I hope we get a couple.

It would be huge to pull 5-star CB Minkah Fitzpatrick this early.

I wish Leo Lewis would commit too, but I think he's gonna take it all the way to next year.

Lester Cotton may commit. He's been a heavy Bama lean for quite a while.

Perhaps one of the Hoover guys will get an offer and commit. We supposedly lead for Darrell Williams.

Nice. I'd be very happy with a CB class of Fitzpatrick and Smitherman for next year.
