I say Rudolph

Bama wants both

It's a good possibility looking like right now

No way. Not enough spots. Simple math, we can't sign 30 guys this class even with OJ Smith flipping.

I don't think we would have room for both unless we really start processing commitments.

@DrewDALIntel: Now confirmed...very likely Chris Williams, safety from Kingsland, Ga. & longtime UA commit will not sign w/ Bama; visiting UCF this weekend

I think we have 3 "uncommitted" spots left.

That sucks if true. I really like this kid.

So who takes his spot? TF-S or Boston?

There is room

Looks like Bama isn't getting Evans

Adding Elam losing OJ

24 spaces right now (Pettway doesn't count) that is 3 spots

If we add Dupre that still leaves 2 spots

If true and that happens it is likely grades and Boston gets his offer IMO

Dumping Williams this late in the process can only mean grades. That sucks. Study up boys and girls!

UCF has the same standards for athletes that we do

So now it looks like we strike out on Elam, Evans and OJ Smith and Chris Williams are getting the boot because of grades? Not a great closing to this class if true, unless we can snag Dupre.

If we don't get Elam we won't lose OJ Smith.

They may be willing to take a chance that we aren't. That's the difference when you have studs lined up to get in your class and when you are UCF.

Holy crap. I've been a member here since 2008 and did not know that.

Heh. I discovered it when I grew frustrated at the comments that sounded bizarre out of context and was searching for an easy way to, well, find some context. I quickly discovered that most them sounded pretty ridiculous in context too.

Anyway, on topic, I'm going to weigh in and note that Rudolph and Dupre both have remarkably similar measurables, but, FSU's national title notwithstanding, wouldn't y'all get much more satisfaction out of stealing one that the corndogs think is in the bag? FSU is building a good but not superb class while LSU has a much more competitive set of recruits right now.

They can take the risk though. We can't. I still don't want him anyway

Pretty sure life-long Bama fan Chris Williams wouldn't drop us for UCF unless he was encouraged to do so. Either grades or needing to make room for more valued targets but I doubt it's the latter since I've seen it stated that the staff is very high on Williams
