Would be hilarious if he flipped to LSU after the amount of shite those idiots talked about him.

Baron&Bone ?@Baron_andBone 32 mins When Saban & Smart visited, Rashaan Evans' mom cooked pork chops & collared greens. Saban didn't leave a crumb & Smart went for seconds.

Baron&Bone ?@Baron_andBone 32 mins That last tweet was according to Alan Evans.

Main reason given was the amount of DTs we are bringing in. Of course, many guys who are DTs in high school are DEs in a 3-4. Hoping the staff can convince him of this if that is what they want.

He may not even qualify. If there is any inkling of him not qualifying we wont sign him. Gone are the days of the sign and place.

I think academics are the main reason for Smith. I think the staff is not willing to gamble and burn a spot if not looking good. Can no longer sign and place. He said he will decide around Thursday if he will take visits. Elam decides on Thursday and I believe Boston said he will be told on Thursday if he has an offer. So if Elam commits the staff will move on from Smith or they will offer the spot to Boston and if he bites the same. I think depending on what those do will determine if Smith signs with UA.

Smith also said he may wait until after NSD which probably means if we miss on a few that are committing on NSD he may have a spot we will gamble with. I like the kid but we do have Dwight, Frazier, and Reed only coming in.

I think staff is starting to figure out how to manipulate this 25 rule.

OJ makes room for Boston

Sonny on Geaux247 said that OJ has big grade problems and LSU is not interested.

OJ said on his twitter that Saban was visiting him tomorrow about 3 hrs ago. So maybe we are trying to keep him or maybe we are checking on his grades.

Alright so he is one of the openings we'll get. I don't want us adding a S or TE for a defensive lineman.

I really hope we add MH, Elam and Evans. If possible Chad Thomas. Then look for the others to fill in if we have more space.

See I'd rather have another safety. With the CJ Hampton circus and Vinnie declaring early I'll feel a lot better if we get another safety.

Humphrey is a must, and I've had the biggest fan crush on Chad Thomas. That kid is the real deal. That being said he seems sold on Miami with them having his major. He didn't bring his family with him on he FSU visit. If he brings his family will tell me whether or not we have a legit shot with him.

As far as Elam and Evans goes, the negabammer in me takes over. At least with Elam we won't have to hold a spot for him, as he decides before NSD.

I don't think it would hurt to look at a juco cornerback. Chris Williams hopefully will pan out at FS and Hootie jones fricks shite up at SS

Uh, why in the world would we go after a JUCO CB? Also Safety is a position we could put anyone one of our flailing corners. Eddie Jackson has been successful there. Using that position on a lower talent player there instead of a high talent defensive lineman would be idiotic.

Tony Brown, Marlon Hump and Eddie Jackson say hello too.

"Context" is trying to say hello, but I don't think you'll get him.

We have talent at CB, we just have to stomach the growing pains.

Exactly. How stupid would it be for us to bring in some random JUCO kid at this point? Marlon would bounce to FSU.... quick.

I don't even think the guy realizes both Menz and Belue were Alabama commits that had to go that route. It ain't like we're just randomly selecting JUCO guys.

I do not remember Menzie committing or signing with UA coming out of HS before going to JUCO.
