Aubs are getting nervous about Evans
I know the coaches are more nervous than their fans. This is a quote from his father from last week:
quote:
Did they come to your house or did you go over to the athletic complex?
“We went over there. We went to visit them. Gus said he wants the last visit.”
So Gus still has a in-home visit left with you?
“Yea, he’s saving that one. He said he wants to make sure he’s behind Saban when he comes. He wants to make sure he gets the last visit.”
It appears to me that Gus is extremely nervous about losing him to us. Why else would he ensure he has the last visit after Saban?

That would be like us losing Bo to them. Please let it be so.

Tavon Ross news after his visit to UGA:
quote:
Ross quiet after visit
Georgia surely gave Missouri commit Tavon Ross something to think about during this weekend’s official visit, but Ross didn’t have a lot to say Sunday when reached by Rusty Mansell on the heels of his time in Athens.
The memorable quote seemed to be this one: “I am still committed to Missouri, but I am kind of open.”
That kind of statement is basically the definition of “soft commit,” so UGA looks to have a good shot here, though Missouri is scheduled to get the last visit.

Since we can't get Evans, I'd much rather y'all did
Plus, the meltdown would be sight to behold

UGA expects to get him. He tweeted about spending $240 in the bookstore, which would seem to be a puzzling investment if he was going elsewhere

Maybe he just wanted to purchase a Quantum Physics textbook? Those damn things cost $240 by themselves.

That would represent a significant lifestyle change after having grade issues in HS

He's improving in that area.

One of our former commits spent a ton of money on his OV buying Bama swag. He decommitted from us the next week
But he's from California and we all know how elusive the California recruit can be.

Yeah it's a little different when you live in a small town near Macon, but who the hell knows with these kids

The amount of bites you are getting on the SECRB is making my morning very entertaining.

Nuggets:
-Elam was very emotional and twice said aloud that he thought Alabama is the place for him. Hardest thing for him is going to be telling the Kentucky faithful he is wanting to leave the state. Mom gave her blessing for him to come to Bama.
-Evans seemingly likes the OLB spot we are pitching more than the Rover spot AU is pitching. The Auburn coaches are nervous.
-Kiffin was very good in regards to Dupre's visit. He showed him how he used Lee and Woods at USC.
-We lead for Humphrey and have for a while.
-Christian Miller had a great OV and won't visit UGA.
-Bo is solid and made nice classroom progress while at IMG. Still needs to finish strong.
-Chad Thomas is visiting.
-Saban and Greg Brown are going to visit Dominick Jackson and Damien Mama this week. We are out of it for Juju Smith.
-They are also going to see Ricky Town who will be in Tuscaloosa for the entirety of his Spring Break and A-Day.
-The staff saw a bunch of 2015 guys last week like Payne, Settle, Kerryon Johnson and Tyler Carr.
