#Rivals100 QB @DavidCornwell5 tells me that he will take at least two more trips to #Alabama this spring prior to summer camp.

I get the feeling that we have a pretty sizable lead for him right now.

I actually kind of like the Harris kid better in terms of potential, but I'd be very happy with either.

I like Harris, but Cornwell has both a stronger arm and better mechanics.

I wouldn't mind Harris, or Jacob Park for that matter, but Cornwell is #1 for me in this class.

I like what I'm hearing so far on DeShone Kizer, plus I'm a sucker for running ability.

He's been called cerebral and has a huge arm, but is very raw.

I'd wait to see what happens when he gets an osu offer.

FWIW Tim Watts just posted on BOL that Reuben Foster should have no issues qualifying according to a couple people with knowledge of the situation.

We are in Orlando Brown's Top 7.

We also offered O-Lineman Damian Mama from California.

Based on his finalists, it'll be us or S. Carolina for Brown if he wants to stay close to home

We could have a lot of fun with a player named Mama

Underrated choice due to Kirk's previous relationship with his dad.

BOL's update on Cornwell:

LINK

Highlights:

quote:

"I called Coach Saban this week and he confirmed the offer that was made on junior day and that it's contingent on throwing in summer camp," said Cornwell.

quote:

"We talked- he asked if I had any questions and I asked a few. He invited me to spring ball on the 16th and confirmed the offer he gave me on junior day. It's contingent on coming to summer camp, which I think is required for all QB's."

quote:

Cornwell is one of four quarterbacks who have received the offer to throw at camp for the Tide staff, joining fellow four-star passers Tyler Harris, Jacob Park, and DeShone Kizer.

Should be a hell of a weekend if all 4 of them show up.

This guy doesn't have an offer from us, but he does have one from South Carolina.

Gavin Bryant

Highlights

He's from Jackson, Alabama. I like the way he plays. Charles Power says he's up to 225-230 pounds.

I have updated the first page with the latest prospects at their respective positions. Still don't have film on everyone, but most of them do.

Trent Harris was offered by UA last week, UF is currently his leader. Kid is very underrated and a flat out beast.

Leonard Fournette update:

quote:

“I don’t have a leader right now,” Fournette said. “I haven’t even started to narrow things down. I have let my parents really deal with everything.”

quote:

“I am looking for somewhere that I feel at home at and that I am comfortable with,” Fournette said. “I want a school with a good atmosphere and good people.

quote:

At this time, Fournette isn’t sure where he will visit next. He does expect to camp at a few different schools over the summer but didn’t mention specific destinations.

On second thought, not much of an update.

I know he likes Bama, but I'm not going to get my hopes up unless he starts visiting T-town again. He canceled a visit during the summer, didn't come to any games in the fall, and didn't come to either junior day last month.
