Don't forget Donell Stanley, there is some stuff out there that says Bama leads. There's also a Texas Guard not named Knox that claims an offer, can't remember his name.

I think Bama is in good shape to get 1 top LT and 1 RT this year. Interesting to see who takes over for Groh with Cam Robinson. The fact it wasn't Burns to start with makes me believe it won't be him, and both Napier and Nussmeier have picked up some slack in Louisiana and Texas respectively.

Interesting developments seem to be the trend today.

Taylor is obviously the top Guard on the board, but Ole Miss won't make it easy for us to get him. Freezus has already offered two of his teammates.

And I'm from Jackson. Trust me. Calloway hasn't exactly churned out the football talent lately, yet Freeze is offering 3 for next years class.

Ole Miss is the new Clempson.

Speaking of Guards, Jordan Sims received offers from Oklahoma and UGA today. In a matter of a month, Sims went from just offers from USA, UAB, and Oregon to having offers from:

Vandy
Ole Miss
FSU
UCLA
Bama
Duke
Auburn
UGA
Oklahoma

I wish Sims would go ahead and commit. Would be nice to have a few more commits to work other targets.

I'd rather they wait. Early commits don't do anything and our staff seems to close better than hold on.

We apparently offered a kid named Budda. I figured you'd like that.

I like him. Although I think he's a better corner than safety

The name thing holds some serious weight though. Think of the best NFL players. Most of them have a cool name. Not many awesome linebackers named "George Smith". An awesome name builds confidence early on. Makes people pay attention to you. Everything else being equal, a coach is going to pay closer attention to a kid named Vontaze Burflict over Gary Johnson.

It doesn't always have to be a crazy name. Like Shaun Dion Hamilton is almost too much. But if you're an athletic freak...Landon Collins is a better name than Eddie Williams.

Oh indeed. Will definitely be an interesting recruiting season to see how things shape up. As for any non-recruiting developments I can think of at least one that I know is gonna be reversed awfully soon.

Who are football players that enjoyed hookers and blow?

I'll take "Foods that start with the letter Q" for 800, Alex.
